Why Dolphins LOVE Modern Ships? 😱
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 14 ก.พ. 2024
- Have you ever wondered why dolphins sometimes swim in front of the ships? Some people say they do it to guide the ships, but that's not true at all. You see, ships have this part called a "bulbous bow" designed to offset the waves, reducing its drag and fuel consumption. This bow creates an underwater wave, known as wake. And guess what? Teenage dolphins have figured out this trick, they ride this forward push of the wake to reach at high speeds without even flapping their tails "just" for the thrill.

It is called a bow wave and the dolphins love to surf off of them. I was in the US Navy and have watched them do this a lot. They would often swim out to catch us as we left port.
The wake is the water trail behind a moving boat, ship or other water craft,
What if they get tired and lost energy to swim on? Did any of them swam slower and got dragged to underneath and killed by the propeller??
@@walterwong7744 They don't use much energy at all, they are riding the water much like a surfer rides a wave. They can do it for hours if they want to. Generally they don't go out too far from where their territory is.

That’s crazy cause that’s really how it started 😂
Jesus Christ is the only way to be fulfilled. I'm writing this as I just had an encounter with Jesus the Almighty God. I was being tempted by demonic forces. I fell into temptation, and I ran away from the Lord. This hasn't been the first time. I have been on a on and off cycle which seemed to be an endless. But today, I feel called to share this testimony. I watched a video which really opened my eyes while I was still "hiding" from God. It touched my soul to the point that I fell on my knees right away, and begged for forgiveness and guidance. This was beyond anyother feeling I've felt while repenting. This one felt true. I had been like mad at God for being dumped by my this girl I was talking to. So this was a way to be tempted by evil demonic forces. I would get intrusive thoughts, and I kept trying to solve this feeling of being dumped on worldly things. And let me tell you, it only makes it worse. If you're someone who is not sure if you're saved, or if you are saved, but have been going through these on and off cycles such as porn, or secular music(which are other cycles I've been having a difficult time with) I want you to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life. If you don't know what to do, I want you to get on your knees, and pray this prayer with your heart:
Jesus, I believe you died on the cross for my sins, and was ressurected on the third day. I believe you came to the Earth, to pay for our sins. Thank you for dieing on the cross for my sins, in Your Name, I pray, amen.
I don't know who is reading this, but if you ever fill an empty whole, which cannot be fulfilled, the only way to fulfill is by Jesus. When you turn your back on Jesus, you seek everything other then him. All worldly things, will never fill that hole.
God Bless Yall!
And now that one decision has now evolutionarily been made a part of them which is epic. Dolphins are spectacular
You can tell those dolphins are having fun

@@denniscatanese4846 pure evil you mean?
@@xirruz it's a dolphin 🐬 🤣..not evil mate 🤣
Fun fact. The idea for the bulb actually came from the shape of the dolphin nose.
The dolphin nose was able to break the water so well, marine engnieers implemented the design for ships to make the more efficient.
So you can say these ships have dolphin noses on them😁.
That is so cool.
Wasn't it actually from wartime effort needing a specialized section of the hull for ramming other ships, which somehow made the ship faster and prompted them to research the reason? Dolphin noses and bulbous bows work in two completely different ways. The bulbous bow creates a wake on the sides of the ship nearly identical to that produced by the ship's motion but offset by 180 degrees so that both waves cancel out, thus reducing drag on the ship. Since dolphins swim underwater, their noses can't use the same mechanism to their advantage since it requires being partially submerged, which dolphins are not. If anything, Airplanes and submarines are the vehicles that are designed similar to aquatic organisms, as both employ aerodynamic solutions to drag based on the principles of traveling through a single continuous medium as opposed to moving through two different ones at once.
@@oatmealman1586 slso for it to work in reducing drag it needs to be fully submerged. what you see here is an empty ship so it is floating high.
