Lyrics:
What’s this? Suspicious volition
Let me tell you ‘bout the roots and the bark
Sit down and take a good listen
The royal baths need a helluva scrub
It‘s high time we taught you respect
Mr Engels has it all out for you
The red death - an imminent threat
Fire in the sky
Fire in the sky
Fly on
Alright now, people of Peridexion
Won’t you look at this horrendous visage?
Take arms now, sweet people, take arms
The pure shade hasn't failed us before
We stand tall like a fistful of sticks
They'll learn to fear those that follow the law
We have walls of mortar and bricks
That’s the sound of the reptile
Stirring the roots
We'll teach it manners and the will of the whip
A swift blitz, in clean boots
Fortify the walls, and triple the guards
I got a feeling this is gonna be my year
This is gonna be my year
Won’t you look at these terrible claws? Oh no!
Rally ‘round me, sweet people, take arms
Fire in the sky
Fire in the sky
Fly on
Alright now, people of Peridexion
Fire in the sky
Fly on
Alright now, people of Peridexion
Fire in the sky
Fly on
Alright now, people of Peridexion
Fire in the sky
Fly on
Alright now, people of Peridexion
Peridexion
Peridexion
Quiet now, you, prophet of lies
I have come here before you to testify
Good beings, consider your wings
Are they not yours to employ?
Now breath, be free
Liquid steel, Viennese legalese
They’re gonna crush you with the weight of a hundred centuries
Speak truth, spoke the father, to the mother, to the child
Press your blade against the throat of all the beings of the wild
Nothing less do they crave than the destruction of death
God bless, God bless, God No!
Stand with me, fellow beings
Swear an oath to resist
We got the might and the means
Swear an oath

i'm here a tiktok video featuring this song showing pictures from Shaft - this song is incredible!
That's excellent to hear - glad you can dig it!
Babe! You're not a 70s detective hitting the streets in an old action thriller. 😭
Me: 📞😎🔎
Bester Mix aus Shaft-Vibes und geilem Plainride-Metal. Liebe es!
70s funk-rock awesomeness 👍🏻
Wish we could have seen the horn section playing on this one! Either way, killer band and song!!

👌See you on Desert-Fest in Berlin ✌
Do y'all plan on coming to the states soon? Your vibe is beyond immaculate, and you'd find much love here on the west coast at least!
why do i hear this and think of old school commandos doing a raid?
Really missing my drum lessons with Flo. Nice fucking Track tho 🤘
Great sound! No bass player. Very interesting.
Cheers! There is a bass player on the recording but right now we're a three-piece live. Have a pretty elaborate Kemper setup for it.
How the Hell does this band sound more like a 70s jazz rock band than an actual 70s jazz rock band?
see you soon! #brokenman23
Jawollo!
Blaxsploitation vibes
