As a Londoner born and bred I’ve seen my city transform massively in a short space of time, but sadly if you tried to walk through most of Canary Wharf today, compared to, after the docks closed, when it had become derelict and poverty-ridden by the 1980s before being redeveloped you will come up against security guards and cameras everywhere, monitoring your comings and goings and telling you when and where you can go and can’t. Also, the area which was once upon a time for working class Londoners is predominantly for ultra wealthy individuals, mainly from foreign shores. Having said that, it’s great video and the drone footage is well executed.
@@wanderingmomentz Hi, genuine question, were you able to get all of the required authorisations formally to get this area unlocked? It is a great video, but the closest I have been able to TOAL from is the more restricted Thames Path areas.
brilliant video! I'm just wondering if you can show us Londons Old Oak Area cuz apparently London is building a new development there with new skyscrapers, houses, offices, shops, bars, apartments, restaurants etc and there's another area that looks so cool too, it's called white city and it's another development in London too and we can't forget about the Greenwich project too, it's probably the biggest project in London 💙
Thankyou mate, I'll add them places to the list and shoot them soon, I shot North Greenwich today but could only fly over half of the area because other side to close to the airport, but I still got some good shots of the O2 and Canary Wharf across the Thames! Will upload it in a week or so 🙂 Thanks for watching!
Hey, just wondering how were you able to fly around that area. I really wanna get some drone shots around the canary wharf too but too scared to try as it's under the no fly zone? Did you ever get told off for flying there?
strange I was looking at 2012 helicopter clip before and all there was, was 5 tall skyscrapers, now you have 14 or so,. I think they should get rid of one of the locks in the middle there and fill it in with sand, and make a new time Square with lighting and big billboards that will truly take it to the next level

I'm a Northerner but even I know that London belongs to people who's dad's,dad's,dad's,dad's,dad's were called GEORGE.

Looks like a city of its own yet just a tiny part of London.
I don’t know how, people who hate skyscrapers, can look at this video and not find it breathtaking
Thankyou mate! I agree, I love skyscrapers!

Great drone. Well done. I used to work there at night.
Awesome man what a cool place to work! Thanks for watching 🙂
Looks very calm for such a big city
The action is further up the river. This actually is not the real centre of London. It's in east London
