Thank you for the tutorial, it was easy to follow and I didn’t mind the length of the video.

i'm SUPER late to this video but idc. this was THE best dip powder tutorial i've watched since all the other channels made it seem complicated and impossible to understand, but the way you explained it made perfect sense so i had to give u your credit!

Damn I'm here 2 years in the future and also agree, best tutorial. Not complicated and doable without a bunch of fancy tools and steps

When you say gel base and gel top coat, does it mean you need the machine to harden it? And how do you remove it? Thank you.

Why would a top coat peel? I’ve never had that happen to a regular mani, so I’m curious does this happen often with dip powder systems?

So I got french tips like this but with the end result, the white tip was very dull compared to yours. Are there different whites for dip powder?

    • @lovenotestotlc8231

If you use the white tips, I would use white powder as she does and use the white tip as guide and just dip as she does. It will look great.

Please help me, I have some confusions:
    1. What is the nail polish/liquid do you use to let the dip powder stick on your nail ?
    2. Are you using UV lamp ?
    3. Why it gets dry quickly in each powder application?
    4. Is there any special nail polish for the dip powder?
Thanks so much if you can reply 🙏

      1. Dip powder base coat
      2. Yes. It is used for the gel top coat and not the dip powder itself.
      3. Dip powder is literally saturating the base coat. The dip powder liquid kit includes an activator that will harden the colors in a few minutes sealing the design.
      4. Yes there are 4-5 different liquids if you include the brush saver.
      Best of luck to you.

I find this tutorial is so easy. why do some tutorials show people only doing base, dip, base, dip activate pink and then they proceed to the white (or other color)?

There are different methods. The one you’re referring to is so there aren’t any chances of the lines not being perfectly aligned, but the white tip may not be as opaque.

when i "gently" tap off my powder flies everywhere and messes up the line.

Is the liquid you’re using like glue? The liquid I use smells exactly like nail glue and it dries incredibly fast. I’m not a fan.

    • @VIRGOGEMNAILS

Yes, they do smell like glue. Some liquids smell stringer than others.

I had mine done at my salon but I stopped cause it was way too thick, mostly as my nails grew out. Plus mine was never as white as I like it. I went back to the shellac (gel) manicure. Either cost me $45. 😢 I think it’s expensive no matter where you are, and in what state. I’m in Florida.
