We have an epidemic of suicide. It is hard to watch loved ones deteriorate. Are we only pro-life at the beginning?

Looks superficial and detached. I agree with the lack of value of human life optic for people who are just tired of making life "difficult" for the family. They lack natural affection. But what about someone who is in the last stages of Alzheimer's? I am not saying that Dr Caldwell will change his mind in any other case, but focusing only in people that is sick but their minds are working and or worse gives the impression that he has no mercy and no understanding. Some problems can't be deal with in 9 minutes and this is one. He should also go over the difference between "do not resuscitate", comma etc.

What about war? What about the death penalty? What about refusing treatment? , what about refusing vaccines or genetic treatment? what about law enforcement using deadly force? This is not a 9-minute conversation and is far from plain. There are cases where it's evident, that someone is depressed, or the family is tired of taking care of and old man and pressures him to request assisted suicide. Other cases are not that clear.
