I remember Denise Alexander back in 1971. then I began watching G.H. on a regular basis by 1978.This was a challenge because there was no VCR's back then. my Mom would audio tape Ryan's Hope and G.H. on cassette tape for me to listen to later. My Favourites were all the stories involving the Webber Family and everyone they adopted. Chris Robinson (Rick Webber)was my favourite actor.Jane Elliot was a favourite of Mom's.What a lovely Tribute to G.H. and it's older loyal Fan base. Love the Song.
Started watching GH in 1968 when I was six years old. Gail Baldwin was a great character as embodied by the late Susan Brown. Go softly Gail (Susan), you are missed.

Its called Good Times made by Becky Shaheen and Gavin Linnahan . But I read an article that stated that the song was made solely for the anniversary show and can't be found anywhere else.
So proud they are honoring the history. They really need to more. They coulda got rid of Laura wright Carly and Maxie. The characters have a long run but the actors playn them don't have 20+ years like the others. I love Jason but so glad he wasn't in the 56 memoriam. Keep it up GH. I may start watching aside from clips soon.
The MOST BORING SHOW EVER! BUT! At the END-I realised it was 56th anniverse! I actually remember watching that first show! It was Steve Hardy & Angie(who was all banged up).I was 7 yrs old! Wish they would've showed re-caps from all the old shows back in the day! That would've made it perfect!
Thoroughly enjoyed this episode. I go back that far. Lol Nothing like nostalgia shows and old clips of my favorite characters. And the mention of Alan singing a song from Cinderella. He was Prince Charming in a version of Cinderella with Leslie Anne Warren in the 60s.. He was sooo handsome.. I watched as a child and was mesmerized. Here's a clip... th-cam.com/video/AjhYTDti7B4/w-d-xo.html And, boy. The episode with Nora Buchanan!! I so miss her and Bo. I miss OLTL.. And did anyone catch the exchange between DA Dawson and Nora? Lol. Dawson preferred Pine Valley? Hehehe. Yeah. I love when they do the inside jokes..
Love that they showed the growing bond between Scotty and Franco.

Beautiful Clip! Scottie missed her so much!
That was lovely. Happy 56th, GH!
Actually, it was boring.Till I learned it was 56th anniverse! They would've done better to show all of the memories from way back in the day tho.
Happy 56th Anniversary GH!

Me too at the age of 13
I felt sad for Scotty!😥
Very odd that Sonny and Carly would be invlved with this scene. They had no relationship with Gail.

Scott, has never seemed thrilled about Franco being his son.
I loved it ♡
Does anyone know the nurses name who’s picture was next to Gail’s?
Audrey's sister, Lucille March Weeks.
Thanks
Surprised they didn't show Jason and Sam
Where's Anna and Robert?
