It brought down the moment when I and my ex finally met after a year of being in a LDR.
The cold rain gave me chills while my heart beats faster than the normal run it does. Bunch of people are waiting for their families and loved ones outside the airport. I was standing still while gazing for his image and when our eyes finally met, we were both smiling. He was jumping with hands raised while our eyes kept tied, signaling that he was there, come over him.
His hugs made me warm enough from the rainy breeze the night has caused. We headed to the taxi stand to go from the hotel he booked for a week.
I was just smiling. The good medicine it aided not just from my longing heart but also from my whole being.
That moment was unforgettable. But life must go on, cliche.
No hurt feelings; just grateful to have felt that kind of LOVE.
