What if you still can’t do the wing? I’ve been trying for like a year now and I can rarely get the middle tap. I have the scrape out but when bringing my feet back in they don’t tap they just slide back in! I’m not sure what to do now
PRAVCTICE SCRAPE OUT-BRUSH IN-DIG SEPARATELY ON EACH FOOT WHILE AT A BARRE. DO 8 THEN REVERSE A FEW TIMES. THEN DO FOUR AND REVERSE A FEW TIMES. THEN DO TWO AND REVERSE A FEW TIMES.STAND UPRIGHT WITH SOFT KNEES PUSHING BOTH FEET OUT TO CORNERS AND LISTEN FOR THREE DISTINCT SOUNDS.SOMETIMES IF YOU DO A TWO FOOT JUMP TOGETHER BEFORE THE WINGS IT HELPS GIVE MOMENTUM. LAND IN A GOOD PLIÉ WITH FEET TOGETHER.USE YOUR PLIE! YOU GO DOWN TO GO UP.
Try on a chair or bar and practice them. Try moves that strengthen your ankles and repeatedly do them every day if you can. One e you do that for a while you will be able to do a wing. Then you can move on to harder moves, like a one footed wing. Good luck!
Here r some tips: ·get a good amount of air, not too much, not too little. ·use a barre or a counter to lean on. ·do the motions on one leg, just standing. Hopefully it helped!
