I was looking for that F-1 but couldn’t find it a month or so ago. I’ll look for it again since I was really looking forward to that one as I have recently been getting into F-1 myself. That Vegeta GP was crazy. But Max got the championship and George raced an awesome race.
I am an airline pilot and flight instructor currently. With the auto pilot roll mode isn’t doing anything for you. If you want to hold an altitude and heading you have to select HDG and ALT then turn auto pilot on. If you want to hold the gps/vor/loc courses then you’d select nav instead of heading. Roll mode is the auto pilot system being on but not knowing what lateral mode you want it to follow.
I was wondering what happened to this video yesterday😂 figured you accidentally posted it too early but yeah the camera you're using in this video is my favorite
Me too, I started watching on break at work as soon as it posted. Then had to go back to work and was looking forward to watching when I got home. Was searching for 5 minutes and figured he uploaded too early and had other videos to post first 😂
Thank you for always being so descriptive and helping your viewers aswell. The last episode completely changed my flight experience as im a newer player (barely played the first one) and never even thought about autopilot. Really brings and whole new experience and chill vibe to my flying and makes it so much more enjoyable 🙏🤙❤️
21:13 For vertical guidance (visual) to the runway you can use the PAPI lights (Precision Approach Path Indicator) it's usually 4 lights next to the runway 4 white lights: too high ⚪⚪⚪⚪ 3 white 1 red: slightly high ⚪⚪⚪🔴 2 white 2 red: right on path ⚪⚪🔴🔴 1 white 3 red: slightly low ⚪🔴🔴🔴 4 red: too low 🔴🔴🔴🔴
If you want to loose speed and altitude quickly use a side slip its full left or right rudder and opposite aileron. It is extreme effective, in the Cessna 172 can can get a 3000 ft decent rate while having a shallow angle of pitch
aye, martn dont be sayin people dont care about it anymore. you one of the last few remaining og's we have. ill always be here for the flight sim stuff especially. i remember.
The fact that you wear a pilots uniform while you fly in this sim simultaneously makes you a chad and a freaking nerd at the same time hahaha. You definitely seem like a swell guy lol
The Vegas video was very enjoyable in my opinion. I’ll be honest, I’m not a race fan so all that talk was Greek to me lol. But I’m a fan of you guys. Looked like you had a blast and that’s awesome! Look forward to more shenanigans with you two! Haha! ✌️❤️🇺🇸
Your flaps are your airbrakes haha that was pretty impressive that you instinctually did what's called a slip to land on that first landing where you use your aileron and rudder to basically orient the plane sideways into the wind to create more drag and slow you down. I would say to apply flaps incrementally in the pattern instead of all at once.
@@TmarTn2 I know it kinda sounds obvious, but slowly come down on power and increase flaps to 20. That will provide you enough left around 60 to 65 knots (Cessna 172) to land. As you come down on power and increase flap, you will find that the plane is automatically slowing down.
Best advice I can give you to handle speed a bit better in the pattern is set the RPMs lower, in a Cessna 172 I teach my students to have around 2100 rpms so it’s a much more manageable speed! Love the vids!!
Love the Vegas vlog and all yalls travel vlogs! As well as the gaming videos! I wonder how the actual race experience compares to a nascar race. Great content all around! Keep up the grind!
Hey I wanted to give you a comment to kind of help you out with your piloting skills: Throttle = altitude Pitch = airspeed. When you want to change altitude over the duration of the flight, you would use your throttle instead of pitching the aircraft. You should actually use pitch to control your AirSpeed by reducing your throttle and holding your nose at a level pitch, in the event you want to go down. Or raise your nose to your desired "V speed" with full throttle, in the event you want to climb. Downwind leg is where you get slow enough to deploy 10° flaps, and landing gear, as indicated by the top speed of the white tape. Base is where you set either 15° or full flaps depending on how sharp your turn into final will be. Final is where you should have your full landing configuration. You should be just a bit above the red tape as you come over the runway threshold. Then power off, lol at the end of the runway, hold the nose just up of parallel, let the airplane slow itself down. Touch. You're done.
16:00 - Trev what you're describing is ETOPS (Extended-range Twin-engine Operations Performance Standards) or Engines turn or passengers swim - rating for a plane - Currently the A350-900 or 1000 holds the highest ETOPS rating of 370 minutes - which means even if one engine fails the plane can fly for 370 minutes to the closest airport..
I knew this video got uploaded yesterday too T Martin had me looking at episode five like I was tripping or something like I know that’s not the video I was telling myself I need to watch
Heard insurance is bugged! Use basic so you can make money offline! Love the vids also for braking the HOTAS ONE has a trigger and I use that for braking works flawlessly!
Its generally not an accepted practice to fly over water in single engine planes because of the safety factor. Most planes that fly over large bodies of water are multi-engine aircraft.
Just so you know there’s a Chanel I watch that’s all about airline safety and he explains plane crash accidents but he also does educational videos on emergancy procedures in case of emergency the Chanel’s name is Mentour pilot and it’s a great Chanel
Hey trev I fly airplanes irl and my instructor always says if you are going too fast it’s ok to go full idle and if that isn’t enough you can pull up and bleed off some speed
The lights on the side of the runway are called "PAPI" (Precision Approach Path Indicator) Lights. It does show our height, when the perfect Glide slope is reached, there will be 2 red and 2 white. Keep in mind that is designed for you to land at the big solid boxes near the piano keys. The PAPI lights only measure height, not centerline deviation (how far off you are from the center line). Hope this helps and I am open to correction!!
Trev, can you do a quick tour of what controls you're using for flight and farm sim? I'm looking to get a setup for both and would love to hear some recs.
Just posted a brand new vlog from the Las Vegas GP on the vlog channel (this one) if you guys are interested! 😊
W
I already watched it 👍
I was soo good wish ji was there ❤

When I saw you say that you want to F1 i stopped what I was doing just to watch it
Dude, thanks so much for the shoutout and glad the tutorials helped! I'm working on some new ones for FS24.
Congratulations Kip
Hell yeah Kip!!
Kip, I watch your streams. I entered the giveaway but I didn’t win but it’s alright!
Absolutely love this series. Can’t wait for new episodes
Can't tell you how happy that makes me!! I'm having so much fun, to have you guys enjoying the content at the same time is incredible
Same here

You were quick!! Audio was messed up in the middle, it was an awesome episode so I wanted to fix it and reuploaded today haha

i need more Indiana jones today❤❤
I almost crashed taking off when I flew the high powered plane
I thought it got taken down by youtube
10:15 using autopilot in circuit is diabolical 😂😂
Paused this video and headed straight to your vlog. LFG Trev and Chels!
You are the best 🥰
Yo 11:18 my guy throwing that plane around like a Bay Area takeover😭😭
Crazy how easy it is to come into final way too hot
First flaps end of downwind, 2nd on base, 3rd if needed on short final. Pitch for speed, power for altitude

I was literally just checking if you uploaded. I love your videos!
same bro
As a tornado and plane enthusiast, this is great!
You should use a camera pov showing your throttle and stick movements and I love watching others flight stick movements
I second this recommendation
Yes please!
I really need more of this. I've already waited 4 days for this episode. Dont make us wait for another 4 for the next
yo love your videos man gunna love this one. always love your msfs videos
aye, martn dont be sayin people dont care about it anymore. you one of the last few remaining og's we have. ill always be here for the flight sim stuff especially. i remember.
Im loving this series!
Loving this series so much!
Great video. Personally I prefer seeing the joystick movements too, not only the face.
This series might be better than the planet coaster 2 series but idk I love both.😅
I like the "show us the throttle" view. 🕹
Loved the vlog it was so cool seeing everything there keep uploading over there they gotta be my favorite videos👌🏻
Each day I await for a new episode. I pass the time by watching vlogs and other series. Amazing video looking forward to episode 7.
I love tornados alottt tysm for making this video possible, MSFS 2024 is insane...

Exactly what I was thinking 😂
*Googles slip to land* - will practice this more lmao
Is there a good way to slow down before you are slow enough to activate flaps?

love the editing on this video so much more that its more fast pace so i don't half to skip though. keep it up man.
Trevor i enjoyed the f1 video don’t worry about it bro, it was one of the best vlogs you guys have made this year ❤
This is the best series ever please keep playing!❤️

I really enjoy these to. I have always liked flying and I enjoy jets especially. So I live vicariously through your flight sim vids.
10:25 Trev you are driving me insane not acknowledging asap lol
Best series on TH-cam
Like being able to see joysticks, thanks for the great vids
Just saw the vlog. Great as always Trev. Looked like a great time :-)
I don’t know if you know but Madeira airport is not of the hardest to land to. Kudos to you my dear sir !
Kip is a great content creator/ streamer. I learn everything I know about flight sim from his videos!!

Love the outfits dude, you are hilarious !!! I just watched a whole bunch of your Boaty vids, and I bought Ranch Simulator cuz of you lol
Was waiting patiently for this episode😂🔥

You've been my top content creator of the year
Loving all the videos please put the hud back on it’s nice to see airspeed and altitude and your flaps
I love these Trev, keep it up
You should have used the prop controll to help slowing down the plane. (blue lever next to the throttle ) 11:19
Please keep this series going
I did not even know the f1 video was posted I have been waiting for it
I like the other camera angle but aside from that i love these videos. Keep it up.
Hey trev not a useful comment just want to say been loving the series keep this up I'm loving it!!
Best way to lose speed early is to use flaps early on base or downwind
Pitch for speed. Throttle for altitude
Loving the content Trev, hope you’re doing well!
The vlog is amazing
The joystick camera is better martin❤❤❤
Bro needs to stabilize his approach , the first one was wild 🤣
You are the MAN!!!!
I prefer the other set up. Loving this series!
Heard insurance is bugged! Use basic so you can make money offline! Love the vids also for braking the HOTAS ONE has a trigger and I use that for braking works flawlessly!
It definitely is! I've been using basic and STILL losing money, so I just turned it all off til they fix it lol
@@TmarTn2 Good idea lol!! Loving the MSFS 24 vids keep em coming! Stay safe
I LOVE FLIGHT SIM VIDS
keep up the good work man!
Love your videos keep what you doing and you will success.
this series is fire
Love the shades my man!
I was looking for this videos yesterday cause I got the notification about it
Loved the vlog!
Trev threw his whole piloting career away to get to the tornado ASAP. 😂
Its generally not an accepted practice to fly over water in single engine planes because of the safety factor. Most planes that fly over large bodies of water are multi-engine aircraft.
I see Cessna 172s on flight radar doing patterns off the coast all the time
Use speed breaks, if you can’t find it check the controls or use the lever inside the cockpit
Just so you know there’s a Chanel I watch that’s all about airline safety and he explains plane crash accidents but he also does educational videos on emergancy procedures in case of emergency the Chanel’s name is Mentour pilot and it’s a great Chanel
