I could watch you do this all day long. You obviously are very skilled. Can't wait for the next installment. Thank You so much for taking us along!! Many Blessings to you and your family. Much love from Texas!!!😍🤩
@@andyanderson9165 okay. He still could have said NO. He has his own homestead to care for. Obviously, you don’t look for the good in people. That’s a shame! Try to calm down.
Nice to see a like minded thinker. It’s like an old mentor told me a long time ago, he basically said: “it takes more than just being an equipment operator, cause anybody can learn the controls and operate the machine… it takes skill, experience and intuition to know what to do with the dirt once you scoop it up…”
Bloody good video Mark I enjoyed it very much ,,so good of you to help a neighbour I hope he gave you a few bucks ,I like this kind of video mate so cool t y cheers ❤️❤️🙏🙏👍👍🦘🇦🇺🇺🇸
Years of experience plus the innate ability to read the situation and run the machine by the seat of your pants all comes together into the fantastic skill set you showed in this video. Keep these videos coming, Great evening watching and I'm not getting raised blood pressure watching TV Thanks for my health benefits.
I sat through the entire video in awe! What Mother Nature can do blows my mind 🤯 What man can do to fix the problems is even more mind blowing!!! Thank you for sharing this with us 🙏❤️ Guess the main road must be open now which is great news!! 👍👍👍
Just a thought see on driveway over ditches. Take and stack cement bags the upside of the ditch where the to hold the dirt from washing. Nice thing is he can buy a few bags at a time throw summer to build up .
Mark, you are a road magician as well as a land shaping magician. I've been quite impressed with your skills since the first time I saw you working for Heath. Been enjoying you and your family's videos ever since.
How long do you expect the wooden rebar the last when it is fully below the surface and sealed up I know the piers in London bridge lasted several hundred years when they were married well and I know that fence posts like to ride only at the surface. I like the way you use imagination to solve a difficult problem
You are one gifted man Mark it's like you and that machine are ONE lol. Your vision of landscape and boulder placement is off the charts. God has blessed you for sure and I imagine your neighbor is very very grateful for your gifts. God is Blessing you sir.
Thank you Mark for being such a good person towards your neighbors. And helping out in a time of need. I'm sure thay would do the same at your time of need. Good video.
Mark your abilities are inspirational !! I’m seriously learning how to set up and or FIX the creak behind our house to better access our piece of the mountain 🤩
WOW that's an awesome job Hopefully your road gets help too Prayer's that they install coverts in all bad areas maybe buy them if county comes out to help they'll finish the job 🙏🙏id chance it roads tore up already..they said your on your own anyway..you know it's all about the $$$$
I've watched dozens of culvert installs and repairs on TH-cam so I'm kind of an expert.....lol......You did an outstanding job Andrew.....errr....sorry......Mark
Well I learned a few things in that video guys Ive watched a lot of culverts go in but never knew the proper way they should be thanks Marc you explain things really well...I bet your neighbour is glad you could fix his driveway goodness know how long he would have to wait to get someone with the time or guts to drive up your main road with a heavy load they would be sinking...you are good ppl...😊
Hey, I recognize that place! It's Busted Wagon Ranch! I remember when they first put those pipes in. I pray all is well with them, they haven't posted anything in a long time.
Sorry wrong place. They are actually up the road a 1/4 mile or so from us and this is a different neighbor who is directly across the road from us. I believe he has about the same pipe as Busted Wagon but different driveway. Busted Wagon folks are doing great and all is well with them, just not doing TH-cam anymore. :)
Wow mark you are very talented. Awesome to see you at work . I couldn’t stop watching it just to see you turn nothing into an awesome road for those people to use as an access. I got your channel from red Poppy Ranch. Just throwing them a shout out anyways your channel is great keep up the good work buddy.👍🏻
I feel like the pipe was way undersized if you live in a region where there is lots of snow in winter but all melt in spring. You’d be having to repair every year
All that plant matter you mixed into what you think is a bank will rot in the next year or two and all of what you fixed will become lose and sink. If you want to make a road/dam that will last it has to be water proof "Clay" or made of rock. That originally washed out so bad because it had a lot of sand in it.
This might be a painful question, but do you get paid for these kinds of jobs, or do you do it out of kindness to others, so they will be there for you when the time comes? I'd like to know more how communities like this operate, if, for instance, you have some sort of bartering system set up where you trade goods and favors, eggs for beef for instance.
He hired me for this job and I gave him a substantial discount from my normal rates since it's literally across the road from me. If it were a quick help with something then its usually a matter of "help me, I'll help you" and if it is something like the main road that we all need to have operational, then we all just pitch in whatever our skills or availability allows. Its all case by case.
Mark if that was me I'd would have put rocks saw whenever you get beavers move in your going to have to come back to unblock it or even put a bigger pipeline in
I enjoy watching the videos😊 you guys do a great job! A bit of feedback - when you use fast forward is there any chance you wouldd be able slow the fast forward down a little bit as it makes me disorientated when watching the video😢
Mark, you are everyone’s dream neighbor ♥️ Thanks for being a great human
Would love to have you as my neighbor. Your good people. Thanks for sharing again.

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoy the videos
The winter snow sure took it's toll ! I suspect he will have no further issues. I'm once again surprised by Mark's s range of knowledge
Seriously, Mark, You did an amazing job! I can see why neighbors come to you for help.
Watching this is like watching a well known surgeon at work. Except I'd much rather watch this then a surgery. Great work Marc
It was very interesting watching you repair the road. Job well done Mark, God bless!!
Good job Mark. A more permanent solution would be concrete “wings” to funnel the water into the pipe.
Big job!... well done!
Nice job! It's great to get an idea of how you can make the road and creekbed solid again. You make it seem easy and that's a joy to watch.

Amazing work with your excavator. You make it look so easy. ❤
Nicely done Mark, are you thinking about improving the drainage on your property too then ?
We have a big project coming up on our place that will significantly help with water drainage.

To bad they couldn’t have brought out a couple loads of big boulders to beef up on both sides of the pipes to
The property owner has a skid steer and MANY boulders on his place and is planning to deliver some along the sides on his own.
Nice job. The guy standing behind you bucket would drive me crazy .Especailly if he got too close.
I've fished rivers with less flow than that crick, well trucks able to deliver ,guess road open again

Your an awesome neighbor Mark, but using the deadfall is a terrible idea. As it decomposes it will erode faster than just plain soil bud.
Agree.

Nice to have an excavator like that....!
I wouldn't have put all those branches in there as they decompose your going to get settling you don't want. I never back fill with organic materials.

How much weight can those culvert hold?

Nice job ...
good afternoon
Is this Broken Wagon Ranch? That you were helping? They havent been on youtube for almost 1 year and half or is it a new land owner?
No, this is a different property owner who is right across the road from us. He lives out of the area and uses his place seasonally.
A+ Earthwork
Very Good!... #105 ✝ {5-23-2023}
Is this Heath's cousin at the "Broken Wagon Ranch"?
No, it's a different neighbor downstream from them.
2 A Limestone over the driveway
Putting the wood on the bank is only going to wash out and plug the pipe.
Are you mudding his dry wall for him as well ?
I'm not sure that he has any drywall needs. He is doing some work on his place but I don't know the extent of it.
@@MountainMapleRanch at red poppy ranch ?
