    That’s a lot of amazing knives. I’ve recently gotten my first Bark River the Cub in 3V. It’s so fire. I’ve got the Forrest Scandi, & Puukko both in 3V on loan. There’s something about BR Knives I can’t get enough of. Nice collection!👊🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔪💪

    Spark River. Took me a lot of work to get past their chippy factory edge.
    And why wouldn't I send it in you may ask? What, to have them fry the
    edge again? Technology is changing, they won't.

    I used to be a fan, own several Bark river knives. Quality control is a joke. Symmetry! Especially for the money. LT Wright and Battle Horse.

      I've gotten some really asymmetrical stuff from lt Wright in the past. I just had to send back a Bark River because it was ground so unevenly, I think White River knives does a really good job grinding their knives.

      @@gilbertopadilla3611 My White River FC4 would be perfect if not for the skinniest handle ever. Very unfortunate.

      You can see with the comments that it's not just bark river. This is the perfect example of people finding problems from any company. Bark river gladly fixes whatever kind of problem you think you have or really do have so sit on Mr.Stewarts lap and take it up the ass or get your issues resolved! Lol

    Love all my Bark River knives except my Ext-2. Can’t decide why I don’t like it, just know I don’t. Still keeping it just to have in my BRK collection.

    I just got myself a bushcraft scout in magnacut and WOWWW super thin and slicey also the sharpest barky I've gotten out of the box aside from my 3v cub both ground by Mike Skittles I'm sure

    • @kevinAuman1
      @kevinAuman1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tramwajcoffeeroasters not certain but if I had to guess I would say they ran the magnacut at around 62-63hrc which is exactly what is recommended by Larrin Thomas who created this steel...

    I am studying right now so I don't make much money. I would love to save up for a bark river but am hearing the quality control has gone down the last few years. Would you say this is the best company for an all around bushcraft and hunting fixed blade? I can't afford to buy more than 1 good knife right now and need to put my money into one knife of paramount quality and practicality... If you could only keep one which would you likely choose? Thank you, I enjoyed thus video a lot and envy your collection.

      If I had one shot to spend on a nice bushcraft knife, I would probably buy an L.T. Wright. Quality control from every knife I have seen has been excellent from them. Still love BRK but qc is truly hit and miss.

      I have many knives from all company's and custom makers and I got to say bark river is my favorite. Love the convex grind and they are sharper than everything else. They have good steels to. I like the Gunny, Aurora, and Jx6 . Just picked up a Aurora mini hunter in 3v and had them put a Full height grind and man it cuts like a laser. I suggest full height grind. As for quality never had one problem and I have 15 of them. Plus they will fix anything your not happy with you just pay shipping. Custom knife makers are asking 400 + so for Bark river price aren't that bad for what you get Highly recommended them. Hope's this helps.

      @@kylekemmerer7599 thanks! I’ve been looking at the gunny hunters and aurora minis in 3v since those are in stock right now, not sure which to choose, really. I’ve been wondering about if they are too small for batoning bigger stuff since I can only get one (maybe) but not sure if that’s really a big deal and I like smaller knives anyways. I’ve been considering a Jakkaripukko as well since it’s $70, although it’s not supersteel. I guess I’m looking for something that is good all around for camp, skinning and bushcraft.

      The mini Aurora and mini gunny will be to small for any half descent wood splitting. And I don't suggest that with these knifes use a Heavy duty morakniv knife for $20. If I was going to get one wait till they make regular Gunny ,or the lighter one, I have a regular Gunny and a Gunny scandi and love that one . Benchmade makes 3v puuko for like $100 I like that one the handles are grippy but sheath sucks I made kydex for it. Cold steel 3v Pendleton hunter is good deer / hunting knife grippy
      handle sheath ok drop point and I think they go for $80 you are going to look them up but they are the cheapest you will find 3v.

      their quality control is just fine. they're handmade, by an american company, and semi customizable. any issues you have they will take care. these yahoos complain about the smallest details oh my word.
