- Papers Please is one of the most ambitious, polished games I've played in a long time. Here, I train you to work at a new border crossing so you can get a sufficient commendation. Please feel free to mock, belittle, or otherwise massacre my fake Arstotzkan Accent. As the country doesn't actually exist, I figured I'd put on a really janky faux-Soviet dialect, a la Boris and Natasha from Bullwinkle. My practice and training consisted of me saying "Moose and Squirrel" five or six times. Glory to Arstotzka!

Anyone still watching this in 2020. I just have to say what a great role play and so ahead of its time. The soft spoken "accent" with triggers is great as well as the physical triggers with paper, writing, and even a hat make it a go to video for me.

I actually taught my dad what asmr is. I just explained that it's like those Bob Ross painting shows he used to watch as a kid. Now sometimes when I use his iPad for something, I find asmr in his browser history. Lol

Seriously though, accents and broken English are my biggest triggers, so good job with that, and getting into character, and the attention to detail, and everything about this. It must have taken you ages to "perfect" the accent and everything about this video, and this thing is brilliant. I'm new to your channel but from what I've seen it seems to me that you have a good eye for thinking up new concepts with good ASMR potential. Like you intuitively know what your viewers would enjoy. I appreciate that.
I also appreciate the length of the video because I can fall asleep to it. The shorter ones I listen to at work because they relax me, but this one is exclusively for sleeps. :P

This could honestly be the best ASMR vid I've ever seen. Please, *please* find excuses to keep doing this accent. They don't even have to make sense. You could just have this character do a virtually endless number of random things: Arstotzkan functionary does origami; Arstotzkan functionary teaches facts about lemurs; Arstotzkan functionary ranks the major British romantic poets according to an index of raw skill and cultural influence; Arstotzkan functionary shows you how to make pot brownies...
This is one of my favorite videos of all time. It's a very big shame, this woman's videos were some of the best on TH-cam. Internet trolls ruin everything. :(

I can't believe it's been 7 years. When I first heard of ASMR, it was through viral no-speaking videos that started to pop up everywhere. Then spoken word videos appeared. But it was Springbok that made me "get" it. Your library of videos have this incredible atmosphere that has never been replicated. You come off as such an intelligent woman with such an appreciation for creativity, I was so fascinated with your content even as an 9th grade boy that may otherwise have completely ignored the entire medium
