I would say that this band is without a doubt the most popular band, esp for being a high school band and it was their third appearance in the Rose Parade, which says a lot about them.
@@paulready8897 Without doubt Paul They have been the headliners on each visit. The bit that made me so proud of them after a great field performance, was the review pass. It was a total blast and the audience watching were totally amazed by that performance and the music chosen was incredible to watch and listen from a high school. Yes I know there were alumni in the band, but they were Tachibana alumni and boy did they played with pride. The future is bright the future is Orange 🍊

When my daughter Maiko was 9 years old (she's now 14), she wrote a short poem for KT. Maybe you guys can make a tune or song out of it.The poem is Maiko's gift for KT, her favorite marching band. Here's the poem : "They march, they play, they dance, they sway. They wave, they smile, they make your day. They jump, they stomp, they ROAR, they SLAY. TACHIBANA all the way !!!"😃 (Maiko became a KT fan in an unusual way. She wasn't really into marching bands at first. But when her mother showed her a picture of DM "Piimo" who looked exactly like her, almost like a twin sister, Maiko became an instant KT fangirl. She even asked me to give her a flute lesson).

Their Bandfest performance was amazing and they came up with different styles. The review march pass was the “piece de resistance”. The choice of music to the American audience and how they presented it. Beautiful brass sounds, with brilliant percussion, lead by the banner girls dancing, the three DM’s in perfect harmony with their maces, the players marching in their little steps and the dance parts , also the colour guard, presentation and last but not least, their also sang the high school song from the show. The whole performance was so inspirational. The future is bright the future is Orange 🍊
