It’s Easter 2024. I couldn’t listen to this song performed by anyone that touched so many lives as the beautiful soul we were all blessed with. She so greatly missed but, this beautiful voice lives on.

i discovered beautiful Joey just as my husb.and was diagnosed with terminal cancer.Her songs brought such comfort to me during his suffering and mine.He passed away about the same time she did...i cry every time i hear her sing"When i'm gone". thank you,Joey Feek..you truly ARE an angel !!!!!!
in complete Aww of both of them her faith never wavered and his love for her never wavered a true love story with such a tragic chapter. But they will be reunited again to sing together. what an inspiration they both are

I just listened to this song again and cried deeply for I remember just before my wife took her last breathe she let out a small giggle which then turned into a big smile. I believe it was the joy that was filling her heart as our Lord took her hand and brought her home with him.

Amen. This old melody links me to my great-grandmother who loved it, too. I was blessed to know 4 generations of my family and shared music connects us together over the years, even to those that have passed. Music to me can have deeply-felt connections to certain people.

I just found my new all-time favorite version of this song right now! That was so beautiful and what a tragic loss for her to have her life cut so short. Life isn't fair and cancer sucks, lost my Dad to it also. This is the third time this has happened to me, I stumble across a another beautiful voice only to find out she's gone. First was Eva Cassidy, then Kate Wolf and now Joey. Is someone trying to tell me something by finding these treasures after they're gone instead of when they're alive?

It's 2024 and zi still love to hear the Feeks sing.
My mother left and went to Heaven on 12/30/23.
On her memorial video I had some of the Feeks played. My mother would have loved them.

I'm researching this song as I have a terminal illness and would like to record 3 song for my celebration of life. I can sing but Carrie underwood is a bit outta my range. The minute I heard this version I knew this is the one. Funny thing is. As my health and hope declined. I had suicidal thoughts tho I am Christian. My doctor kept telling me about a music channel he listened to and I thought yeah I look it up, never did. ( I am a TH-cam junkie, as my eye sight is on and off) I cried as I went to save the song. It was Gaither music he wrote down for me to go to, he said you've changed his life. He tried to introduce us, but I found you through God. I have been listening to videos for hours, I've seen Gaither music and This is what he was talking about what are the chances, I browsed I saw Carrie underwood sing Jesus lives ( or he lives) so beautiful! But what a coincidence that the version of how great tho art that I finally head and knew it was perfect pitch and all for me! I happened to look when saving at it is from Gaither music? I found you 2 years after he first mentioned you and 2 months since he wrote it down. This is unbelievable!! 😢😭💖!! Unbelievable how this happened. God works in mysterious ways 🙏🙌.
