No one will ever, ever see this, but I have a theory. We all know Louis and Harry met back in '09 at a battle of the bands contest in Manchester right? Like the two bands (Crimson Rouge and White Eskimo) were at the same venue and preformed on the same days. Louis' band even won the competition, there's no way they never met before the Xfactor. I think they met and started dating that summer (The song Rock Me basically confirms this. I know it says none of the boys helped write it but I don't believe that) and decided to try out for the Xfactor together as a double act. Once the screeners/judges saw and heard them together they had an idea. Take some other young, good looking boys who'd auditioned and put a band together. They probably already had everything hashed out and contracts signed before they even started filming. I also think there were only supposed to be 4 members originally. Why would you want a gay couple as part of a boyband when the goal is to attract straight, teenage girls who all fantasize about dating said members? But Harry, who they wanted to be their star attraction, would NOT agree to anything unless they signed Louis too. Since Harry was the one they wanted on board most, they agreed. It explains why Louis has always been treated like a tag - along who wasn't supposed to be there by the label. He's always said he felt out of place and like the least important member of the band. No wonder he never thought of himself as a 'real' member. He probably felt awful because his boyfriend at the time was the only reason they let him join in the first place. I'd bet money some of the first contacts any of the boys signed were a TON of NDAs absolutely forbidding any members of the band or crew from ever going public about their relationship. On top of that once fans noticed the tension and intimacy between them and started theorizing, the label probably felt like they had to crack down. Make Louis seem as straight as possible, get him a girlfriend for the cameras and shut his confidence DOWN. All of this combined had to put a hell of a lot of strain on L and H's relationship, like I'd say multiple break ups, reconciliations and the development of a lot of toxicity over the years. I'd bet it was hell, especially when they were so innocent and new to the industry. So glad they're all on their own now and out of that situation. I wouldn't be the littlest bit sad if 1D never made another album. Onto the future boys!! No apologies and no looking back! 😊

amazing. really empowering compilation. i hate how my sub box barely had any larry videos today when once upon a time it used to be filled with them. i think we all needed a reminder though, y'know. i dont doubt larry. i don't but it's librating to watch how far they've come together, how much they've fought. I'm mubling now but to be in a relationship that you have to hide is hard enough. let alone that it is homosexual and then you are one of the most popular boybands and in the eyes of the media. and its so difficult to hide that you're in love with someone. but these two boys , man oh man, they naver backed down, y'know. they've tried their absolute best to tell us larries that we are not the 'delusional freaks' everyone thinks us to be and i think that thats such a strong thing to do. like shit dudes, you're being forced into something you don't want to do and you shouldn't even like care but they do. and i just think that thats an extremely fucking amazing thing to do and thats one of the reasons that no matter what happens, I'll never leave these boys. (im not missing the point of the video, im just rambling, don't mind me)

My absolute favorite Larry video. All are sensible proofs. Show this to any anti and they'd guaranteed believe it.
No one will ever, ever see this, but I have a theory. We all know Louis and Harry met back in '09 at a battle of the bands contest in Manchester right? Like the two bands (Crimson Rouge and White Eskimo) were at the same venue and preformed on the same days. Louis' band even won the competition, there's no way they never met before the Xfactor. I think they met and started dating that summer (The song Rock Me basically confirms this. I know it says none of the boys helped write it but I don't believe that) and decided to try out for the Xfactor together as a double act. Once the screeners/judges saw and heard them together they had an idea. Take some other young, good looking boys who'd auditioned and put a band together. They probably already had everything hashed out and contracts signed before they even started filming. I also think there were only supposed to be 4 members originally. Why would you want a gay couple as part of a boyband when the goal is to attract straight, teenage girls who all fantasize about dating said members? But Harry, who they wanted to be their star attraction, would NOT agree to anything unless they signed Louis too. Since Harry was the one they wanted on board most, they agreed. It explains why Louis has always been treated like a tag - along who wasn't supposed to be there by the label. He's always said he felt out of place and like the least important member of the band. No wonder he never thought of himself as a 'real' member. He probably felt awful because his boyfriend at the time was the only reason they let him join in the first place. I'd bet money some of the first contacts any of the boys signed were a TON of NDAs absolutely forbidding any members of the band or crew from ever going public about their relationship. On top of that once fans noticed the tension and intimacy between them and started theorizing, the label probably felt like they had to crack down. Make Louis seem as straight as possible, get him a girlfriend for the cameras and shut his confidence DOWN. All of this combined had to put a hell of a lot of strain on L and H's relationship, like I'd say multiple break ups, reconciliations and the development of a lot of toxicity over the years. I'd bet it was hell, especially when they were so innocent and new to the industry. So glad they're all on their own now and out of that situation. I wouldn't be the littlest bit sad if 1D never made another album. Onto the future boys!! No apologies and no looking back! 😊
