Happy to see you try the actual River Survival mode after playing some of its minigames before!
I recommend eventually exploring all the routes because you can unlock some pretty great stuff by doing so!
0:13 As much as I like the menu in Superstars since it's Mushroom Village from the first Mario Party, an actual hub like this one in Super is so cool!
4:22 Didn't expect you to mention Pingu, I watched various episode of it as a kid and yep, that's one of the sounds he made!
6:23 It's better to get your card first because CPUs always choose the right ones, but they can "steal" those that you remember.
11:50 As far as I know paddling just makes you turn.
14:18 It's such a bummer that most of this game can't be played online, in fact you couldn't even play the boards that way until not too long before Superstars got announced.
18:45 Getting all the music notes makes a minigame balloon appear, good thing you grabbed them!

I played this game with my sister and whenever we had a mini game where you had to cooperate we wouldn’t understand the game properly and so we were always raging and our mum joined and showed us how easy they were. And then me and my sister just sat there gobsmacked looking like goats. 🐐
