🇹🇭“Siamese Fighting Fish”-The Splendid Warrior
Siamese Fighting Fish is Thailand’s national aquatic animal. “Siamese” means a native of “Siam”, the former name of Thailand.
Not only is the Siamese Fighting Fish known for its vibrant array of colors of elongated pelvic fins, but also for its courageous nature. Moreover, It had appeared in Thai classical literature such as poetry and ancient documents centuries ago.
Thailand’s national costume “Siamese Fighting Fish” is particularly inspired by this unique fish called “Tri Rong” (literally means “three colors”), which was successfully bred to resemble the colors of the Thai national flag-red, white and blue. With its uniqueness and scarcity value, it became the most expensive fighting fish in the history.
Crystallized, gleaming, streaming fabric mimics vivacious, feisty, graceful characteristics of this “Splendid Warrior” fish, while elaborate accessories reflect traditional Thai art and cultural richness of Thailand.

“นักรบผู้สง่างาม” ให้คร้ามครัน
ระบือลั่นเรืองนามว่า “ปลากัดไทย”
“ปลากัดไทย”-นักรบผู้สง่างามปลากัด เป็นสัตว์น้ำประจำชาติไทย มีช่ือสามัญในภาษาอังกฤษว่า “Siamese Fighting Fish” ซึ่งหมายถึง “ปลานักสู้แห่งสยาม”
ปลากัดเป็นที่รู้จัก ไม่เพียงแต่ในด้านที่มีสีสันสวยงาม หรือสัญชาตญาณนักสู้เท่านั้น แต่ในแง่ของคุณค่าทางประวัติศาสตร์ ปลากัดก็ยังเป็นที่กล่าวถึงในวรรณกรรม และเอกสารโบราณของไทยมาเป็นเวลานานมากกว่าศตวรรษ เช่น บทละครเรื่องอิเหนา, หนังสือประชุมพงศาวดาร เป็นต้น
ชุด “ปลากัดไทย” ได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากปลากัดตัวพิเศษที่ชื่อว่า “เจ้าไตรรงค์” ซึ่งเป็นความสำเร็จของการเพาะพันธุ์ปลากัดให้เป็นสีธงชาติไทย ได้แก่ แดง, ขาว และน้ำเงิน อันเป็นที่มาของชื่อ “ไตรรงค์” นั่นเอง และด้วยเอกลักษณ์จำเพาะดังกล่าว จึงทำให้ปลากัดตัวนี้มีมูลค่าสูงมากเป็นประวัติการณ์
ประกายคริสตัล และผืนผ้าที่เป็นครีบแหวกว่ายโบกสะบัดพลิ้วไหว ส่องแสงระยิบระยับยามต้องแสงไฟ สะท้อนคุณลักษณะแห่งความมีชีวิตชีวา และพลังแห่งความกล้าหาญดุดันของปลากัด สัตว์น้ำขนาดเล็กที่ได้รับการขนานนามว่า “นักรบผู้สง่างาม” ส่วนความวิจิตรประณีตของเครื่องประดับก็สะท้อนความรุ่มรวยทางศิลปะและวัฒนธรรมอันทรงคุณค่าของไทย
