Greetings from the UK. Nice recipe but why oh WHY, are you sawing with that knife? I'm not a chef, just a home cooking fan. But even I know, that knife is designed to cut through something like a leek in one slow, steady sliding motion. Slicing, not sawing. BTW, going to try it out one day in the coming week. 🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧
Hello, I noticed her cutting technique and thought it was just adorable. I’m a bladehead with years of experience and would rather see anyone (like herself) being very careful using short slicing motion to achieve her mise en place. I’m not laughing but thought it was just darling. Grace I would love to cook with you anytime. Work on your knife skills and happy cooking, like Chef Jacques Pepin always says
I love your recipe, I will definitely give it a go. I have some Irish heritage so I’ll be cooking this on St Patrick’s day.
Love it!! Please let me know how it goes 😊
Lovely video young lady ! thanks for posting. Looks easy and will make it for lunch tomorrow. Best wishes from Greece xx
Aw thank you! Please let me know how it turns out!
I like to use _Colcannon_ as my topping on _Shepherds Pie._ BIG hit.
Love it!
Have you tried making mashed potatoes with buttermilk? It gives them a nice tangy taste.
I haven’t but love the tip and will try! Thank you!
When I was a child my mother made colcannon all the time
