11 month is too much, looks like you paid for nothing, please check with your employer again, call them or send email saying that you will raise a complaint to malta government

What is the error showing? Try with credit card or pay to your employer and ask them to pay the work permit fees behalf of you.

Initial working permit is valid 180 days, after that your employer will have to renew working permit which will be given only 30 days, so every 30 days it needs to renew at the maximum of 9-12 times, it depends due to the covid.

You need to book an appointment in VFS to proceed Visa
You need a CVU approval to proceed your Visa with VFS, you need only working permit from ID malta (employer) to proceed your visa.

You can do over time or par time. Officially Part time job required permit and if its same industry you need to get permission from our current employer. But many of them doing without following anything

Working permit cannot be renewed now, except if u r working permit applied before March 2020 I think, but not sure, you may apply fresh working permit which will take 6-8 weeks max

so please email your employer and request Original documents with notary.
just 4 paper
1 contract letter
2 invitations letter (employer letter)
3 proof of declaration (accommodation)
4 employer I'd or accommodation owner I'd photocopy.
it's simple process you just go your area DHL bluedart office and say Import some paper .its 5500 or 6000rc charge , DHL waybill details send your employer and 5 to 7 working days Original documents deliver in your address.
3 to 4 weeks for Identity Malta been 7weeks still no approval of mine 🤦

The health screening and declaration of landlord part usually will be done once you reach Malta when applying residence card as per old method. However due to the Covid reason you may have to do this in your country before you start your travel, but please double check with your employer.

We understand you are in abroad.
1) You have to do the medical test, no doubt on it.
2) Old process is applicant has to do the medical test only when they reached here in Malta.
3) Due to the Covid rules getting changed, which looks like you have to do the test in your current country (Abu Dhabi) and submit the form along with your medical reports.
However, my advise is to please double check with your employer medical test required now or we can do this later when you arrived Malta.

We received an email from identity malta last october 2021. The status until now is in progress. You mention in your video that it will only take max of 4 weeks, why until now (January 2022) we did not receive any work permit from identity malta. Any advise?
Not 4 weeks, maximum is 6-8 weeks that too depends the number of applications with ID Malta, but after 6-8 weeks you can contact them by sending email for status of ur application

sorry to say but you forgot to mention and add one and most important document thats CVU (central visa unit )you cannot proceed to vfs without Cvu otherwise application will not be accepted or will be rejected.

• category D malta form
•ORIGINAL PASSPORT
•2 PHOTOS
•PASSPORT FIRST AND LAST PAGE COPY
•eu approved vaccine certificate(optional)
•Job contract
•work permit
•invitation letter
•travel insurance of 50,000$ for minimum three to maximum months
•air ticket itienary
• LANDLORD DECLARATION FORM
•ONE MALTESE ID CARD COPY FROM EMPLOYER.
ensure to collect these documents before proceeding for visa.
I appreciate your effort explain. Please note that CVU is a department not the documents. CVU Is the contact point from the embassy in the respective country and you are not required to contact the CVU unless if any specific cases. I have seperate video which explains what is required (check list) to apply for a working permit and visa since this video is a short video to understand how working permit wors in easy 5 steps. Also you don't required any Maltese ID card in your checklist, please don't get confused, try watch my other video for better understanding. I appreciate your explanation and trying to help.

3 months is too long, please ask your agency or employer for the tracking details big the single permit application and check the status by your own to know the status. Or you can directly send email to identify malta with your passport details and ask the status of your application.
