I laughed so hard at the last part. At how fast it turned into a scene from a horror film. 🤣 I love your series. I really love watching survival lets play but the videos are too long in others vids. But yours is just the perfect length. Hope you continue this series and upload more. ❤
for those that play this now : you can place water platforms now and walkways and bridges, also for deco on fishercenter you can place washtub fill water and drop fish(pike, roach and perch) in tub and maybe just for fun place a fish on fire and window.
Wow the pier idea is great !! If you want to place planks more precisely, you should switch to first person view and lower the mouse sensitivity, it will be easier to do. Also, quick decoration idea. You can place tables (or a plank on some barrels) near buildings and put stuff on it like tools, fish and fish meat to make it look like a little workstation. I use that a lot in my town and it helps make it more alive.
I like how you decorate your town and make it look nice. When i build a house I usually have a window next to the door, then i decorate the window with open shudders, a flowerbox under the window, and flowers in it. Between the door and the window, there is room for a small bench, which the villagers will sit on.
Doing great! Definitely stealing the idea of trying to build on water. I have a bridge idea I'm playing with to cross short streams. Love the ideas you have. FYI You can go one direction on the two dock platforms because you have stairs on the second platform that are hidden by the planks. That's why you can go out. Coming back you run into the dock and have to jump. :) Also...you ae going to need a LOT of fishing spears. They have very low durability (20) and she will go through them very quickly. Other food ideas: Potage will feed your people . 3 meat 2 cabbage and a bowl. You already have the materials . Set your kitchen to make them and no more bread lines.
I love how your city is growing. Chatear after chapter i get more invested. And even if i don't play this Game, can i make a suggestion? IS for the loooong play: What about growing your population by having at least 1 kid per House? I think you could get even better traits on your villages if you put the kid in the aporentice tan (idk how old he must be). This comes because i see you don't do the main story of the game, rather than having your own town. So you could save time on minor quests. Again, love this series. Have fin on your new trip!!
Thanks for the donation :) Kids happen by chance and I don't have any control over it other than with my wife in game, but I may look to have more kids with her in the future :)
@@Kysen yeah you are right. I was Focus on your building and forgot you already set the villagers to form families, all we have to do is wait. I'm so invested in this series :D
I just hit unlocking the mine in my village last night. Once you get it for yours, be sure to take a look at the street lanterns. They will be a fine replacement for your torches and they actually aren't too expensive to build! Excellent video and thank you again for this series!
I have my village in the same location as you do and i found one spot (so far) where you can build a fishing hut. At 2:12 you can place a level 2 fishing hut in the water left of the bridge. Doesn't look that great but saves the trip for fish.
Hey Kysen I've just started watching the vids. I have a few suggestions for you, at your campfires make a path around them it cleans up the brush and stuff. Then with the donkey and horse pens the workers will path find through the doors so if you were to fense the back to the otherside of the door your workers will still get in. Also you need a food storage at the fishing camp or the fish they get won't get to your town
I guess I'm not positive, sorry, but to me, it makes sense being that your village is so far away from you fishing camp, so I guess give it a few days and see what happens
New Episode, I Love it! Also I found out that using a decorative built barrel, sack and chest, the Villager won't use it, so it's a great place to stock up Item such as turning item into rot or make milk into sour milk, hope the tips help.
Ive also tried to build a pier/deck but can never get it quite close enough to another building.,I wanted an extension to my tavern by the water so my villagers could enjoy the sunset hour more freely. I love the new decorations and am planning to go crazy with them when they come to the PlayStation version.
Loving the new fishing village. I do have a little hint for you though, there's a cave to the East/Northeast of your new village. (Don't feed the BEARS!) 😂 I just hit year 3 in Oxbow (15-day seasons), no spoilers but I can't wait to see what you do with all the new things in the future. Great video as always
Watching this from my cabin on the ship i work on 😂😂😂 the wifi is so bad but love this series so willing to struggle through the wifi so i can watch it
haha that is so cool! I love the way TH-cam can connect people all over the world. Whereabouts is your ship? And is it a cruise ship or a cargo ship or something else? Thanks for watching! :)
Liking your decor choices almost tempted to tear apart my old valley map village to create something with all the new things ^^... i just might but that would be a mammoth task. 3 villages - one is huge, and several outposts...
Great series so far...I think you can get a lot of decorating and building ideas from watching what other people do with this game, so I had an idea that maybe you can download some of your viewers worlds and react to their builds and maybe even incorporate some of them into your own town...just a thought, either way, love the videos, keep up the good work!
Yeah I wanted to showcase what others have done, it's just I have no time atm because I am going away for 4 days again soon and then Enshrouded is releasing, which I will make a ton of content about!
Thank you so much for saying decorative! I'm proud of you. It may seem silly but you're an educator that reaches thousands of minds even if you've only thought of yourself as an entertainer previously. The ability to effectively use language is a deciding factor in one's professional and interpersonal success and it reflects the intellect of the speaker. Self-improvement is a life-long goal and you just gained a level as a role-model! Keep up the great work and fun videos!
Well I'm 100% with you about self-improvement being a life-long goal :) That's where the name Kysen comes from, a Japanese philosophy called "Kaizen" that focuses on continuous improvement. Thank you for watching and for the support! :)
Hello Kysen, can i ask u a question. How can u have indicator on top left screen? i play this update same as you but i don't see any indicator when i play the game?
Been watching all episodes on this series so far. Lately i feel like its slowing down the progression and more time spent planning and decorating things. Personally i would enjoy watching more, if episodes was focused more on progression and that you do more planning and decorating off camera. So for example when its time to expand the village, that you have pre planned where buildings, streets and decorations go. Then timelapse the development to make more room for progression of the series. I think in your past episodes i noticed that there is alot of things to unlock, but it required so much points, like 10000 of them, and you are currently far from that. I also would not mind longer episodes if you are interested in that :)
Thanks for the feedback. Early on it's easy because you unlock things fast. But at this stage of the game it takes much longer so I need to do more building and such. Most people are enjoying seeing the building and decorating, plus I don't have much other choice so I will make progression when I can but the series will probably need to be a bit of both
A big part of the game is taking your time and planning things through, not just rushing tech points to the end game. Played multiple playthroughs now and the best saves have been the long slow progressing games. Has been so much more fun appreciating each individual aspect of the game.
@@Kysen I understand, life is much slower here in the south. I lost my cloud save found out recently. Entire summer of this game lost. So, trying to heal my anger by watching you play
@@KoolKitty917 sorry to hear that. Just remember life always happens for you not to you. Maybe this will lead to you doing something else that you really enjoy is more productive 🙂
Come on now why won't villages have simple stuff like the linen thread/cloth that you wanted. didn't you not get the shears from the seamstress there for the stone, parchment, shears quest there? Hope soon the ability to build bridges and the like come soon. With all you know now would you do a new start second season of this map.... I for one would love to see it with a better planned out start etc... keep up the great work m8, cheers.
I don't think using Decorative or Decorational is that a big problem. I am not a grammar **** and english is a learnt language for me so I can adept to it. Yes it's nice to use your launguage (written or spoken) in the correct way. But don't forget that language is always changing and if anybody says it a made up word or usage, then always remember: in the begining every words are made up until they got meaining and became accepted by the others... Also I hear a lot of gen z and younger folks using words/sentences more disturbing...
You are are so scatty in this and chat waaaayyyy too much Why don’t you just place a gate for ALL your animals, just seems silly that workers can’t access the stables 🤦♂️

Don't forget to get Zbig to cut up the fish into fish meat or you won't be able to cook it. The pier looks good 👍
You can place some more planks going from the shore to the stairs.
