Michael Jackson designed the shoes and pegs idea himself. If you look really really careful you can actually see one of the background dancers have 1/2 second of trouble unhooking himself as they continue the performance.
Also the guy coming on stage with the dynamite and the siren was to take your focus off of Michael and his dancers for a couple moments while they hook them selves into the pegs to do the lien

5:57 MJ did the Leaning trick in his music video with camera angles, but he also wanted to do it live for his audience, so he patented shoes with a special hollow heel that would hook into these little rods that would pop up from holes in the stage. They do that dynamite part to distract you from seeing Michael and his crew essentially hooking into those metal rods with their special shoes, you can see how they have to step backwards a little bit before they can move again when they lean back up.
edit: 6:00 you can see the right-most dancer actually get his right foot STUCK on those rods I was talking about for a split second.

Thats pretty bald to say. Both his dance and songs/voice are strong so neither of it beats the other. I mean when you listen to his songs, you just cant but feel amazed, and of course there is the urge to make some moves

Yes, but Michael didn't win a copyright lawsuit by dancing. He did win by singing.

When they are leaning forward in the dance they are using special shoes. They are standing on a certain spot on the floor and it lifts up and goes into the bottom of the heal.

Michael Jackson co-invented those special shoes that had that slotted heel. It is United States Patent 5,255,452, Method and Means for Creating Anti-Gravity Illusion effects for entertainment purposes.
