@@demokatdemokat7423 I would guess because they weren't taught that way, but without power they couldn't circulate that water, either. Standing water stagnates, so I don't think the pool stays nice very long. They would need to drain it and refill often, to keep it nice.

God does that. It's called evaporation and rain. The water is constantly being cleaned this way, or we would live in a cesspool.
