The lads have to learn from this, just watch it back and just try to find out why we start slow. The performance second half was amazing and everyone worked for each other and that is the secret to move forward all together, players staff supporters everyone as one .

An excellent review of the game Phil. Regarding the centre backs, the most successful combination, I think, was at the beginning of the season when we won the first four games with O’Nien and Alese. That combination doesn’t appear to be a consideration now.
Considering Cirkin,s poor performance, I wonder whether he was one of the players affected by the “Virus”.

Cirkin has not recovered from his operation

That first half has to be a wake up call to our defence they were so lethargic & didn't really wake up till that second went in !!!! We were so close to going under but they dug in to their reserves & Dan Ballard got us goin !!! We must learn from these mistakes & take the press mentality as early as possibly and put the opposition on the back foot !!!!!

Iam not surprised some of our players are fatigued !!! I doubt if they have ever played in such an intense league as the championship where a 3 game week is the norm and they have never been in the position of raising their game to accommodate this situation as foreign leagues are so much weaker and so do not have to be as prepared for their bodies to take such a hammering !!!

I want to give Roberts some credit
He is his hardest critic but if you look at his impact this season he has been involved in the majority of our goals this season
He does not give up and keeps going
He won the free kick for the first goal and he made the pass to Rigg who set up the winner

stats don't show how good Roberts is .. He has scored a goal now and that I hope will give him confidence in front of goal.. remember his 2 goals against Reading .. he never scored last season I don't think.. so another goal soon will help him

Great free kick for their second but with no draft excluder the taker knows the wall is unlikely to jump. Maybe Patto instructs them not to get a slightly earlier view of the ball. From that distance, the wall has to jump.
We slowly took control of the game which allowed Neil to get forward. We were struggling to create anything clear-cut until he took charge, spurned the obvious ball out wide, and scored a belter.
After a well-worked third, we realised that they only way they would regain the momentum was if we gave it to them by sitting deep. We kept up the high press and continued going forward. Excellent and much easier on the nerves than adopting the ridiculous we hold what we have a policy that we've seen far too often. Happy days.

Well RLB saw how Swansea were beating our press and changed it at HT

Just imagine if we had a really good defensive midfielder
and Dan Neil and Jobe could push on in the offensive half
Dan has played that holding role since RLB arrived

Amad Diallo wins the Manchester derby on his own
I watched we watched him close up at the SOL and saw what he can
BBC comments about 85 mins Gary Neville says
"It's the classic if you make one mistake and you go and try and correct it.
Amad has been Manchester United's best player by a street "
AMAD then wins the pen then scores the winner
Burnley come from behind to go above us. Norwich have the worst defenders
