Nothing can top these games. My first and only play through of darkness was so special and memorable. The depth of the story and difficulty caught me off guard. No game has touched me in such a meaningful way.
Yea I really think it hits so hard because you really don't expect it if you have never played pmd before; you don't know yet that you are in for an emotional ride hahaha

These games were just too good, man. I cried several times during them and hearing the music all these years later always just makes me break into tears. It reminds me of a time where I was so uncertain of my future and would just fully immerse myself in the story of these games.
These games got me through my childhood. I had a tough times and these songs remind me of when I used to suppress my emotions so terribly that the only way I could release them was by playing these games to cry. That release, that expression of emotion just allowed me to feel free again.
Whenever I feel the need to heal, my subconscious mind always brings me back here. I think, in a way, my childhood self found a way to express emotions and my body hasn’t found a better way.
When Memories Return hit…holy crap.
I swear don't ever forget makes me cry everytime, it makes me remember so many things I adore, the beautiful moments I enjoyed until this day...

19:30 makes me very very sad. :'( Explorers of Sky made me cry. Especially when I thought that I had lost Vulpix forever. These games were too good. They need to be continued.
Why cant every Pokemon Game have such good Soundtracks!?

but i havent done a Full Playthrough of GtI so i wanted to replay every PMD game again and maybe this List will change. 😁
Explorers of time was the first game that made me cry as a kid and will always be one of my favourites
I have to say, right now i am 20 but relistening those song make my feel like i went back in time, in a moment of my life where my grandparents meaned everything for me and now that i live in a foreing city thinking on it make me cry like the baby i was at time

I really hope for a remake of time/darkness/sky like they did with red/blue. If they just make it like they did with XD I would freak out with happyness
I just want another game with this level of story. I felt so much ON THAT part. I pmw showed how much potential a story on the pokemon setting can have
The explorers games in the style of the rescue team remakes would hit so hard, omg. Not even new content. Just the same game with the different art style/graphics and i would be extremely happy.
14:30 I will never forget when I finished smd. It was raining and I was in tears. The only thing I remember that day was finishing smd and the train home. I won't forget about smd. You have been my favourite 3ds game for as long as you've been here.
Another thing I won't forget... Was when I did the exploration orb mission to save the pink celebi. It felt so nostalgic and fun. Smd, I'm sorry that it took me a long time to finish you, but you deserve more praise and love.

When you listen to songs like this some people realize that the characters in the games go through a lot more stuff than we do
Being thrown into an adventure with no knowledge of what’s to come
And going through a road that makes them feel emotions they haven’t felt before their adventure started
And when you they meet new people they get attached to
They’ll feel a good amount of heartache when they die or are forced to leave..
But there’s always that hope of seeing each other again one day...
As long as fate allows it

The Run Away track does not make me cry, wdym? Of course not, I just caught tears in my eyes…
I feel a bit older than most here lol. But in all honesty, Run Away from Mystery Dungeon Blue/Red was always so emotional. The sendoff scene made me cry. And when I got the game on emulator and I let my nephew play, he also cried. I personally feel it's really hard to top the original. Playing it on my GBA advanced color as a kid was so much fun. And now I'm 28 😢
28 here, too. Grew up with the games, even played mystery dungeon under the blanket in secret because the story was picking up speed like no other game I had

Damn the explorers games had such good music. Overall for me the best Pokemon game I´ve ever played. And I basically played every Pokemon game there is that´s not mobile or super niche game
I don't even play these games and this is some of, if not the best pokemon music out there! PMD and HGSS just hit different with these soundtracks. Gamefreak absolutely cooked on this game's ost. Man I remember saving up my money to buy PMD1 for my Gameboy Advance as a kid. My first playthrough with machomp. A time where you just played the games, because they were not games but kind of real. Today Id just restart to get a better starter but back then it felt like I really was supposed to play as machomp. It was innocent.

This is great, but just a little FYI; the desc says In The Morning Sun is from EoT but it’s from EoS because it’s from a Special Episode, which were only in EoS, not EoT or EoD. ❤️
