►The devs thought it was a great idea to have english audio and text by default even though they only have chinese voices in game atm. So starting part 3 I will turn on chinese audio...
CBT2 is live now. Chose the female rover as I chose male in CBT1. The beta does not have voice overs but it does have english subs. Game still has fps drop and fps skip issues here and there which I hope the devs fix by launch. Another major issue with the beta is that they added a ton more useless and pointless dialogue in the beginning, so please bear with me as we go through the story stuff before we go and explore the whole map. I will be covering the full beta in a series similar to the ZZZ beta I covered earlier last year. Hope you guys enjoy! Part 2 will be up in the morning! Cheers!!

Yo I watched some other streamers and based on that I thought English voiceover isn't available yet but I see chixia saying 'think you can catch up?'
Basically I wanna know if the combat and the usual voicelines are available in English or is it the story voicelines which aren't voiced yet(ik it's there in Mandarin)?
Combat mechanics are mid af tho. Huge trade off
@@cyclejason I am sorry but what are you talking about, in Wuthering waves you need to know how to dodge and block attacks or you will die, and the bosses attack patterns are said to change a little the higher your world level is. I seriously don't think the combat mechanics are mid, especially since there are other games that have far worse combat mechanics. After all this is still a beta test, who knows maybe it might be harder (lol also if you did some digging there is actual endgame that has INSANELY tough fights known as Tactical Holograms).
So I don't know if you actually researched the game or only just watched one measly clip of gameplay but this game is going to be hard and there are a lot of mechanics, compared to others games like ToF, GI, and HSR(HSR does have a decent amount of mechanics but the combat is a bit unsatisfactory sometimes) for example.
"not clunky" xd, this looks like tower of fantasy v2, still can't reach genshin smoothness
guys let the devs know in your cbt2 feedback that we love that rover has voiceover at certain points in the story but that we want them to be fully voiced. this means that even in those basic dialogue interactions where you pick a dialogue option we want them to be voiced.

@@detaiIs They can absolutely afford to get voice actors on this, if they didn't have money, a game such as this wouldn't have even been made to begin with. I truly feel as though it's incomplete without a single word actually being spoken. Especially with the potential this had... :/

As soon as the pre-registers for Close Beta 2 being opened, i registered as fast as possible. And there are my younger cousin who did register just few days ago, very close towards the end of CBT 2 registrations. And you know what? He's among the chosen one, while i got nothing 😂.
I feels like this is the epitome of Gacha. No one can predict whoever get the luck, and i am one of those who don't really have much luck. Kinda hurt a little, but oh well.

@@amethyst5047 it's not about game, but producer. He was the one, who were leading HI3rd in first place, and people said, that this times were the worst for the game. But, as he left for GI, and new producer came(and he actually works in HSR now too) they started to have really great time. GImpact is a good game, but it lacks endgame content, it takes a lot to get it, since first signs of it only started to show up recently and the way, how filler patches work is really bad, so as gameplay design of some characters and game mods.

It's more realistic when she actually points the gun at us. I'm tired of stories where the MC is always treated amazingly by almost everyone. Just like in genshin, where we literally have a 5 minute convo with a character, then they are automatically our friends and will do anything to help us.

Hope the game will have a good amount of content. I liked Honkai Starrail but I hate that it had just around 20 hours of content at the release. Not sure how much its now, but I doubt its much more.

I just hope the main character wouldn't be so weak like genshins traveler, I only use the traveler for dendro and thats it, it's like Tier A to B at best, so im hoping if this game comes out, the main character would be performing at S or A tier. I hope the same goes with the starting characters too...... in genshin... Amber was like.....ughhh........ :/

more than voices the game has other issues. fps drops, fps skips, dialogue lines skipping or not appearing. random bugs, audio glitches, etc. They need a bunch of work on this.
