I am in So Cal, 80 miles east of the fires. The Eaton fire in Alta Dena was appearantly caused by So Cal Edison's power lines. So Cal Edison is shutting our power off every time the wind blows. I live in the San Bernardino national forest, it is flipping cold here, our power is getting shut of for 1 -3 days at a time. Folks in Alta Dena are suing So Cal Edison. It is insane here. My husband and I are trying to get out of here so we can live in peace in Sandyville / Ripley.
My friend, piss poor management is simply corporate forest practices. The solution to that is sustained yield select harvesting. Not clearcut logging... i can go on and on but it is not foredt practices that are changing the climate, in the 80s we had already logged 95% of late seril growth timber... since 2009 we've been weaponizing the weather, California had 10+ years of drought during which i watched chemtrails or geoengineering being used along the pacific slope. The results are droughts floods and wildly varying Jetstream patterns. Look below the surface and you will see the agenda behind geoengineering to promote an unscientific method for selling ecars and outmoding hydrocarbons. The carbon dioxide content of the atmosphere is les than 1/2 of 1 percent. Randal Carlson will describe the effects of climate change in more detail but in general its geoengineering at this time.
The state is pretty much red, SF and LA control this state, the corruption is off the rails here....John Cox was way ahead of Newsom in the election several years ago, there was no way Newsom was going to win, until we all woke up to the hell the next morning and Newsom was governor. There is another recall now , because the "elite" in Pac Palisades are affected by the crap they voted for .
We try to elect Republicans or independents but our elections r so wack here we can't do anything about it. We need federally mandated voter ID to at least start fixing things.
The individual lawsuits against Southern California Edison started this week - due the the video showing sparks at the base of a transmission tower caught on a gas station video. Maybe, SCE will sue the state for lack of brush and forest management.
I live in a national forest in So Cal, the forest is very mismanaged. We lost our homeowners insurance, had to find a new company for 3200.00 a year with a 7500.00 deductable....

Preparing to defend your home is a life and death decision so don't take it lightly. I am prepared to defend my home and I live in a forest. Best of luck friend
