Go to download the files, it says added to cart but where is the cart?
@@crrigby hoping you found it already, but if not, after you add to cart, the cart appears in the bottom right corner of the browser window (on Windows). Took me a min to find it too :P
Not a fan of when a website makes me put in an address and go through a whole checkout process to download some "free" files
@@VanAlephI just tried. It will not accept the place I live in as legitimate.
Tried to download, got to add address and the continue, but error message "Could not load page"
Taking the frugal scratch build methodology of early White Dwarf's & Codex's then updating them with contemporary technologies, resources & materials, the 12 year old me that lives inside this decrepit old frame is in awe, in a word : inspired, you're a genuine advocate/treasure to our ever burgeoning hobby, thank you Jeremy.
I am absolutely stunned by how amazing this ended up looking! Can you pleaaaase make assets for some classical fantasy version of the modular approach? It would greatly expand my collection and I would love to give this build a try! I simply don't play any cyberpunk games so I have no use for these ones specifically.
I second this! I would also love to see fantasy stuff.
And some grimdark future filled with only war as well!
If you want a rather cheap game that works well for Cyberpunk, look at Rogue Stars, theming is pretty much all you need there to make it work.
Unfortunately, it doesn't really work for WW1 and earlier settings, but works with pulps, WW2, and later things just by retheming things
IDK how well it would work with fantasy. SciFi, and cyberpunk specifically can ger away with really boxy, brutalist/modernist designs that don't make much sense in a fantasy setting. Definately possible but it would take a lot more time, and probably won't look as good.
@@C._Bradford I definitely see what you're saying. I'd be looking more for like rocky small mountains or blocks brick made ruins. Modular levels is the one thing my combat mats are missing and I have come up with my own solutions from time to time but nothing modular and it's always relatively speaking a burden. Knowing it's possible with such a small amount of materials is game changing though, so even if he doesn't bother with fantasy theme, I've at least got a framework and if I get the time an imaging template for the specifics!
This is the epitome of, "You don't need a ton of expensive stuff to start gaming." Thank you Jeremy, excellent video as always.
Just an expensive printer, printable stickers, foamcore.... This video is easily a $200 project
@@janeblogs324 it literally used 2 sheets of foamcore that cost $1 each and a dozen printed sticker papers that you can have printed for well under $5 if you don’t own a printer.
I wonder how some of you navigate the world…
@@janeblogs324 I’m going to assume that you were listening to the video in the background and missed where Jeremy said you can take it in to a print service and have it printed for pretty darn cheap, in color and on sticker paper. So you don’t have to own a printer or buy a big pack of sticker paper.
But, if that’s still too much, here’s some more alternates. Take it to a local library, ask if you can print out the sheets, it will be either free or like $.15/sheet. They’ll probably print them in black and white on regular printer paper. Take those suckers home and grab a cardboard box, Amazon, old moving box. One from the recycling center in your apartment complex. Get a cheap glue stick from your local dollar shop and glue it to the card board. Cut it out, then grab that small box of crayons or colored pencils and color it however you like (might have to get that from the dollar store too). Then take some white Elmer’s style glue and glue the cardboard together. If you don’t have white glue keep the scraps of paper you cut off and use it as binding strips. Like Jeremy said to do with those texture strips in the corners. If you use those and attach with a glue stick and then reinforce on the inside with scraps it will be pretty structurally sound. This cost bus fair, $.75 - $1 in prints, nothing for the cardboard, maybe $1 for glue, possibly two if you buy white glue too (if you don’t already have it)and then possibly $1 for coloring utensils if you don’t have those. So this could be bus fair plus $.75 cents up to bus fair plus $3.75. That’s pretty cheep and you can print off stand 2d stand up minis as well if you want them so may be up to $4 outside of transportation. That’s a pretty cheap game night and it’s reusable and reconfigurable.
@@lauraevans2104 don’t waste too much breath, this person only leaves miserable complaining comments.
Love this, and your talent. I would honestly buy a PDF/Book if you expanded on this concept. Cyberpunk, alien-like, fantasy houses, just a wide range of quick terrain that we can cut/print/glue up.
I agree. A pdf book of these wall files would be a great item.
You should totally do a feature on Crooked Staff terrain, he's been doing print and paste youtube tutorials for years on fantasy and sci fi terrain and has hundreds of pdfs of different stuff, very cool
Yes pelase, Crooked staff needs exposure. he is amazing at coming up with new ways to do things with a printer and glue.
Absolutely! This made me think of Crooked Staff Terrain! Big fan of their print&paste terrain
You might have just enspired an entirely new gen of mini builders. Awesome work man
I just want to mention Crooked Staff Terrain. Its in a similar vein and his stuff has a lot of utility. Really useful bits like carpet and banners. I think he's even doing sci fi interiors at the moment.
He also put out a ruin pack for fantasy stuff for those of you thinking it’s too blocky. It’s flatter than Jeremy’s foam ruins but visually is pretty good.
To me, the print and paste approach gets you the best bang for the buck. I have been using this approach with the printables from Crooked Staff Publishing. I will be sure to print this out and add it to my table.
I think you missed an opportunity to “If that makes sense”. I think you’re required to channel your Crooked Staff Terrain persona a bit if you do this type of crafting.
I absolutely love the elevated walkways. They always look cool even though nobody ever thinks about safety railings.
It wouldn't be a cyberpunk dystopia if the corporations haven't abolished OSHA.
@Bluecho4 you beat me to it 😂
How else would you kick someone down of them?
Awesome video BMC! The results look fantastic for a smaller budget friendly build!
Really nice! But I can see skipping the edging just by using a rabbet cutter made for foamcore. Everyone seems to put off getting one, but I got mine very early on, and it was worth every cent for the cover-up work it saves me.
Agreed - cutting rabbets is almost as quick as this method but produces a better finish
These are awesome! I have been following you for a few years now and am always surprised by how many awesome things you make while keeping it simple.
I know it's more work but if you made some classic fantasy designs even some floor tiles and things like that I would definitely use them.
You are back on a roll the last couple of months keep it up!
Combines the best of 3d terrain and glossy papercraft templates!
You are constantly surprising me with your ability to make access into the hobby so affordable and compelling. I like that you vary between using all the various tools/skills/techniques you’ve developed, and some great inexpensive intro ideas. How can we watch all the cool things you create and not get excited to give it a try ourselves!? ❤
This was honestly GENIUS!!! Love the way it all came out!
I have seen similar print and paste type of terrain crafting before, and I can certainly say that I am a fan.
Along with paper craft terrain and you have a lot of options that are easy and cheap.
Delighted with the simplicity and doing SciFi for us Space adventurers.
Cool! it's almost perfect. Easy, cheap and looks great. Thanks for sharing and teaching.
Amazing stuff dude! I'm picturing this with some added greeble to un-flatten the walls. Stoked!
Really been loving these builds lately
Clever, creative and cheap.
Brilliant.
THAT IS AWESOME!!! I'm sharing this with our local game store!
Your last video that had cyberpunk styles crates was so inspiring that it led me to do something just like this last winter. Thanks for being a wargaming inspiration!
Looking at moving most of my scenery to this kind of thing, along with the sponsored stuff. Scenery that can stack and nest is SO much more space efficient. I especially love when the storage box is just the biggest building, you immediately know what kind of scenery it holds and it looks great on the shelf.
Very cool! Didn't expect it to work this well!
Very cool idea, thank you for sharing!
Wonderful idea. Affordable and easy x
Wow. This looks great!
Great modular set! Love the assets.
Such a brilliant set and idea. Thanks for sharing it dude
Love the simplicity!
Fantastic. Love quick terrain guides!
That's really cool! Perfect for any skirmish game!
This is an awesome idea. quick and easy. Since the facing is printed It's so much better for non-painters like me.
I like the fact that if its right side up it looks like a building if its upsidedown it looks like the inside of a building. Also i really enjoy the door idea with the buyable sets being able to just clip doors wherever you want isnt only a great idea but it also holds the boxes together so they dont drift while playing. This has given me ideas.
I love quick easy builds like this, it's perfect for assembling with my kid too! I'd love to see a fantasy setting version of this with a town/village or castle/dungeon setup.
My Canadian brother… you always blow my mind and give me exactly what I need. THANK YOU 🙏
Oh my YES!
I Just found this channel and I am so excited to make miniatures for my brother.
He plays Warhammer 40K TTRPG with all the little Necrons and Space Marines. He's been complaining about not having a good table set-up and making something like this is right up my alley :D
I know what I'm doing for his birthday now! Thanks man!
Wow man these turned out beautifully
Just wanted to say I love your content and I miss seeing it! I’ve gotten out of the hobby as I haven’t dmed in 5 or so years and forgot about your videos but just stumbled upon one again and awesome work!
These are awesome! If you could make a fantasy set next, that would be super ;)
Absolutely incredible resource - especially for any new Infinity players, as the amount of terrain need for that game can be really daunting on a budget. Thanks a million Jeremy!
Thanks for the ideas. Great ideas as always.
Absolutely thinking about taking these and the dollar store ideas for making bunches of terrain
I recently did something similar, but you took it to a different level! Now i have to try your designs and techniques.
Oh man, I am living for this! I've recently been playing Kill Sample Process with a set of quick assemble set of Battle Systems Cyberpunk City core set with all the kickstarter add ons in the box. Bought it second hand unopened online for dirt cheap, this is even better though. I can add even more to my ever expanding Cy-City. Thanks Black Magic Craft!
Great video again. I'll sure have a look at those pages. Thanks for this! :)
Love this kind of stuff. Turned out great. I have just the game in mind to use this with!
I love you, I truly need something like your video for motivation. Thanks a lot.
Dude that’s awesome!
Man, this is such a good idea, thank you.
Super awesome, need to make myself a ton of these!
I love that what you're making kind of competes with your sponsor.
This is such a great idea and it looks awesome!! Thanks for making the assets free too! It could be fun to use yours as a base and play with your layout to draw up my own versions for different settings sometime!
These look awesome, Jeremy!
I could see using this concept to reskin and make cool dungeon mines or the like.
Wow! Still leading the pack, Jeremy!
Great work!
this is a fantastic Idea for a super durable set of terrain.
This is simply amazing
Hands down best crafting channel on TH-cam.
Spectacular stuff!
Man these look awesome. Definitely gonna be making a set next time i have the chance.
Thanks for sharing those files !
My pleasure!
another great vid keep it up!
Ive just started using minis for my campaigns, and ive been looking into any cheap methods to spice up my table, these are AMAZING. If you ever made any post apocalyptic ones id actually pay for them in a heart beat, really creative work here man
Thank you very much for the Video and especialy for the template, i just recently got my nephew hooked on kill team and now we need as much terrain as we can get :)
Great stuff friend 👏 👍
this is actually really cool! i just got into necromunda recently and i had a set of pop-up scifi terrain i had from an old kickstarter but these might actually work better for that specific application!
wow. this is pretty neat
These have a really quality boardgame finished look. Definitely saved.
Now i wanna see stuff like sewage systems, power plants, shanty houses, shops. All added in the same style as this, this is SO great
Your brain is just amazing. While I love creating terrain, I can really see how this quick method could come in handy!
awesome! Would totally buy some fantasy versions of these!
nicely done
This is great. I'd love to see how you'd approach a fantasy version of this!
Going to make some these this weekend thanks for the video! For those with a 3d printer (or a friend with a 3 printer) Thingiverse has a few foam board 45 degree bevel cutter files. looks like you could cut some clean corners and maybe not even have to worry about covering those exposed edges.
Those are so cool!
We need a Fantasy set of stickers like this!!! AMAZING
This is awesome! ❤
Just got into Necromunda so this is convenient, thx!
Very cool, been looking for some dark, but not ruined buildings to fill in an Infinity table and these look like they'd be great for it. Thank you
Great video and project! Im liking the glitchy transitions on the production side. You covered a lot of ground on papercraft and mounting stuff. From my experience mounting 2x3 posters on to foam core I would add, if you dont have a cork backed metal ruler, they are great, they reduce slipping by a ton, you mention keeping the ruler on the image and cutting away the white this also prevents you from cutting into the image if you come off the ruler, and running a black or dark colored sharpy over the edges of the paper before gluing it down will hide the white edge of the paper. I make books on occasion so I have a bone folder for burnishing but if you use just your hand, take off any rings, Ive marred a few posters by doing that! There a lot of papercraft folks out there, Im sure they have some great advice too. Thanks for the free files! awesome! I also really like the Tenfold Dungeon nesting design. If I make something like this, Im going to aim for that. I think my kids would enjoy playing with these too, just kind of as toys, the stackable verticality I think theyd really like. A good basic craft they could also help make! Great project! Thanks for doing it!!!
Wow! Just wow! Thats amazing, You should sell it printed out!
This is amazing! A medieval one would be so cool too.
Look up Crooked Staff Terrain
I'm a sci-fi geek so I love it when you do cyberpunk, sci-fi stuff. Not that I don't enjoy your fantasy work either. Your techniques give me ideas for stuff I want to do later on.
It’s nice, and a nice reminder we don’t have to work super hard for a solution it can be easy.
Wow man I think I got myself a nice new terrain set for my kill team games xD Thank you so much awesome work man
Great idea, very cool I wonnder if they have intire build for a d&D particular camaign.
Such a great and inspiring video! 🙂
I just bought the paper and I am absolutely crazy about it! Infinite possibilities!
Super cool ❤. I play Infinity. And though I know most people are looking for fantasy stuff.
Its great to see sci-fi stuff that isn't 40k or waste land themed.
You are kidding? I was going to start a cyberpunk terrain build for a Christmas present. You just made my job a lot easier. I'll enhance it with some lighting and additional detail. This is great!
Reminds me a bit of Wylock’s old print and paste terrain!
Great job on keeping us thrifty (cheap) gamers supplied with easy to make terrain 🤘
Also I was just browsing through the game store that’s near my doctors office earlier this week and I scanned over the boxes of your sponsors product and mistook them for the Lasers and Dungeons product. Next time I visit that store I’ll have a closer look at those boxes and possibly purchase one or two of them because your review of them was very informative 👍
Brilliant!
Great idea simple but with some additional bits and pigments may be easily extended . For dungeon version I would spray mat varnish to remove shining.
You could also print on matt paper.
Brilliant! Gonna try this idea this weekend, but I’m gonna replace the cyberpunk with some classic Star Wars designs
I was waffling on necromunda this last week and this really solved the problem for me.
Good stuff!
absolute, 100% perfect for old school Necromunda! I'll be making some of these this weekend!
(as a side note, I'm beginning to work on a Christmas themed village for a one shot, looked over your christmas trees videos, will be making those, and will be making the base using the technique from the Snow Terrain vid from about 4 years ago, but... what can you recommend for "snow flock"?)
