Crazy first day in Kochi Kerala 🇮🇳 (Drinking Kulukki, LuLu Mall...)

- What a fun first day in Kochi, Kerala!!🇮🇳
We first enjoyed a walk on the Marine Drive, the beautiful beachside of Kochi, also grabbing us Kulukki, a typical drink in Kerala. The Shop owner put on a crazy show for the Kulukki.
After that, we headed to the modern Metro of Kochi, to get to Lulu Mall, which is the biggest mall in South India.
We spent a great time inside Lulu Mall, enjoying some Dosa, Kulfi and also a Chai. After that, we went to the amazing arcade and grabbed an indoor Rollercoaster and also some fun Games. 🇮🇳
It was a great First Impression of the City, and we are hyped for all of Kerala!🇮🇳

Btw That rainbow kulfi had three flavours. By seeing colours, i can say top one is of Caremelised milk (original taste), middle one is Strawberry, and lower one is of Pistachio 🤤
That drink was like Aam panna of North... Spiced drink made from raw mango. It's good for summer.
I am not from kerela, but some of the famous dishes you can try is Malabar biryani,
Idiyappam & Egg curry,
Puttu & Kadala curry,
Appam,
Beef curry & Parotta (beef is common in kerela unlike many other states in India),
Dosa & Sambar (which you already did )
Btw, Dosa is NOT eaten all at once by folding. You have to break it in pieces, dip it in the chutneys or Sambar given & then, eat it ✌️

The food, culture, language all are different in Kerala compared to North. The men who made the drink are from North. Many guys work here in Kerala.

1.They don't speak our language malayalam, even if they do , it's very easy from the first word itself that , he's not a native.
2.They are ethnically different from us .
3.they dress differently.
But must say, the service those people offer here is irreplacable. They are a boon to us Malayalis(Keralans) who are laY to do ground works in general .
And , on a lighter note , please do know that Hindi is just another language in India , and if possible try to learn the local language while you're in the south . People won't understand Hindi and people.might take offense, since there is geopolitical side to the language aspect . English would be perfect to use . Almost everyone will speak English in Kerala .

@@zingwibrothers The language they speak, obviously. Hindi (dhanyavad that you have learnt is a Hindi word btw) is not a language of native keralites. Keralites speak Malayalam, like the shop owner near him.
Kerala is one of the most beautiful places in India. I would love to revisit this place!

In Kerala State, if possible do visit Munnar, Vagamon and Ranipuram Hill Stations which is ideal for trekking along with gorgeous landscape especially now during Pre-Monsoon Season. Add some wonderful breath taking destinations in India in your itinerary like Kodagu, Chikamagaluru Districts in Karnataka State, after completing Kerala Trip. Add Darjeeling and Mirik after Kolkata Trip which is on the way to Sikkim State. In North of India, post Kashmir trip, do visit Ladakh, another stunningly beautiful destination.

you should have visit alleppey backwaters in a houseboat , and munnar and vagamon
Go to Alleppey, which is around one hour drive from Kochi and stay overnight in a houseboat. Reach there by 10am to book the houseboat. It is an experience of a lifetime. Thank me later.😊

Fantastic your traveling trip explanations. I am also in Kerala,but I didn't go to these places, when you showed these places,culture,food, how the way you are respecting people, that is really very good. Very happy moment also. The shopkeeper made for you mango Kulukki sarbath, Actually he added one seed, that was Cuscus seed. In Lemon juice also adding that seed.
I have one suggestion, cheating is everywhere , so you have to be very careful. When you go to a shop or restaurant, ask for the menu first, or you can check the approximate price in the Google. And don't simply stand, just stand like, you know everything. Then No One cheats you, guys. This is my humble suggestion. I don't know, whether it's practical or not. But just try.

There are lots of foods I can't name everything & it's calmer here than Mumbai & nice people. If you come to Pune try local food ,it's amazing you will love it.

Mostly in south India people eat on banana leaf, it's an old age custom and is actually the answer to sustainability, environment friendly and it's hygenic... would recommend if you guys get a chance please experience it..
Fun fact ; Many startups around the world developed sustainable environment friendly cutlery and plates replacing plasticware , inspired by Indian custom of using plates made of leaves btw...
Also try to visit goa .. in between mumbai and kerala but seriously different vibe, Indo-Portuguese , you will love it, beach haven, visit south goa though...also try toddy if you could fund it in kerala, you guys are German so I am 75 percent sure you guys might be able to handle it...😅
