Love the selections! Have a wedding in France this summer and I'm so undecided on what I want to make. Definitely more into the set type as it can be worn on their own once the event has passed. UGH! But love all the options you showed; Pose spice vibe, Mimi G one shoulder and Maiden set option.... Thanks Cassie
I always enjoy your pattern finds! So many cute ideas. Thanks! I may try to transform the Lily pleated dress into a strappy summer dress. It is so cute.
Love love love, all of these options are great for a wedding or special occasion to make! I love that Eteri blazer, I’d like to make that just because it looks super sleek! Thanks for making this video!
I have made many sirocco jumpsuits and they can be smart or just cute secret pyjamas :) it’d also work for breastfeeding mamas. the saguaro set is another one that’s surprisingly smart in the right fabric. My favourite dress to make for weddings is Seren by TATB. Enjoy all your weddings and thanks for the video :)
I love that you make the effort to be inclusive. It's one of the things that makes your vids special. And sometimes it helps me realize where I can improve. Thanks for this vid😊 Such a great idea. I wish I had this during the year of my own Summer Of Weddings. You helped illustrate the versatility in this patterns that I otherwise wouldn't have noticed. I'm in love with the one-shoulder jumpsuit at the end, and that POWER SUIT! Everything I've been looking for in a suit, thanks! I've never made a suit jacket before and from other makers' vids it seems quite advanced, but I might give it a go. I appreciate that you included some non-dress options and chose ones that have a dress-like silhouette. Enjoying your channel as brain bleach for these dark times. Also, that wrap top/dress that was designed for breast feeding is so cool, and hit me bc I have a post-it note up that I want to look into designing/making clothing for people with different physical needs. Whether that's the position of pockets, or an alternative to buttons, or suitable for sitting in a wheelchair, etc. I can now add breastfeeding to that list of things to brainstorm. 👍
That blazer is AMAZING! Not sure if I can execute that notched collar though. They tend to be tricky. Also, I love the blouse you're wearing. Can you share what pattern it is?
There are some of them very beautiful and the one that is breastfeeding friendly is fantastic because I have a 2-year old boy that still ask me and it is difficult to find a good dress, in fact I am sewing one for a wedding in November because I could not find anythingin the shops. Regards
I have an evening wedding to attend this summer so this definitely gives me some things to consider. Also, I could only half concentrate because the top you’re wearing is beautiful, please tell me that is me-made and you remember the pattern lol. Thanks for sharing. Edit: new subscriber- I found it in your list (clearly didn’t have to go back to far) 🥳
Aw thanks so much! I did make the top - it’s in linen and the pattern is the orchards dress with the sleeve expansion. I also hacked it by elongating the bodice and slashing/spreading it to make it more swingy
I'm so jealous of anyone being invited to weddings! Seems like so much fun 😊
Love your blouse!
Nice choices. Lots of good stuff to think about!
thank you!
Thank you for including a maternity and breastfeeding friendly dress!!

I'm new to your channel it's so inspiring thanks for sharing.
Thanks for being here!
I'm still thinking about what to wear to a September wedding. Maybe a magnolia dress... or a jumpsuit would be chic too!
Oh the magnolia dress is great!
Do linen sheets make good sewing material. Is the fabric sturdy enough for dresses.

I'm wearing a hacked version of Vivian Shao Chen's orchard dress. I have an IG post with all the details of how I did it :)
@@MakingCassie I found it! Thank you so much!
