Came through the post on IG, I love this. I've used slides many years ago when I studied painting, I did all sorts of stuff, such as painting on slides, drawing with markers, ... No digital projector can give the same vibe. In many ways slides made me very aware of image resolution and overall quality in both analog and digital realms.
Can I just add: PLEASE DO NOT USE A WOODEN OR PLASTIC RULER/STRAIGHT EDGE!! I know from experience! I worked in a Print Shop, and for "quickness" I grabbed a plastic straight edge to cut an A0 poster. We used scalpels, as these are the only real way to get a single sheet neatly cut. As I drew the scalpel back, I hadn't noticed the scalpel slightly digging in to the straight edge. By the time I'd ended the 'stroke' the scalpel had dug into the straight edge, and cut itself a new edge, down the ruler and across my thumb and hand!! Lovely. :( So yeah, ALWAYS use a metal edge/ruler when you cut with a knife. p.s., great and VEWRY interesting video, cheers man. 👍🤟🤟

Modular and slide film...an unexpected but excellent combination!
I love your creativity Mitch. Brilliant.
Cheers =)
