I am Puerto Rican and the first language I learned was Spanish. I've lived in the U.S. most of my life and I learned a lot of English in academic settings, but I know for certain watching television has had a much more powerful impact on the English I learned over the years. I have lots of family and friends that would say the same. Thank you so much for this. You just gained a new subscriber.
As a college student majoring in communication, this is very helpful. Thank you so much for this lecture! Hope to see more videos based on this topic in the future.
Thanks for made this video. It’s help me understand more about new media that I need to study this semester. I’ve learned since the root of the word media. Also, know more about many kinds of media.
Amazing content and video !! I really wish you explained more in-depth the theory on how new media doesn't destroy/replace old media, but how they adapt and learn to co-exist next to each other. :))) love this video altogether. Thank you
This is a beautiful comment and much thanks for rephrasing the points in the video. You and others are inspiring me to continue making videos on this topic.
I think there are plenty ways. I'd say one of them is - by downloading one of the various apps that teach you languages by giving you assignments and games as well as prompting you to continue your lessons now and then.
Very interesting video & very informative too. as for the answer of the question you asked, I actually use new media to learn & enhance my English. It started with Online grammar check that many websites provide for free, spell checks- through MS word. There is dictionary that let you know the meaning of a difficult word & most helpful is google that lets you translate a hindi word in english. Plus there are many websites where simple to difficult english learning tests are available. I mean there r n number of ways. One can even practice english speaking through recordings in smart phones & n listen to them if that is flawed.
thankyou boss I'm glad too entire your reply, your lecture enhance my self you gave me direction Like showing the way to the lost man, dear I am getting admission in masters in New Media audio visual Art programme, in European University, I would like to know In the new media, I want to be taught what to do, which is in demand all over the world, even in future,
Audiovisual (AV) is electronic media possessing both a sound and a visual component, such as slide-tape presentations, films, television programs, etc. So adding the new would add the requirements of new media as it is on demand and allows two way communication.
