There's something so unpretentious about the way it portrays what it means to be human.. to feel lost in this vast universe. It's like the characters are saying, "We know. We know what it's like. We know it's hard on so many days, but it's gonna be okay." That's just beautiful

I met the love of my life online. I wasn't even looking for love, just happened. I read from somewhere that she was cast when the movie was already in editing and they had to rerecord everything with Scarlett and even remake some scenes.

Sometimes it’s funny to me, how so relatable this movie is with me, I bet it is with many others. I’ve been alone for so long since I was a kid, I never had much friends and spent my time in the class during recess. Everytime I’d make a friend they would always just leave so I gave up. Most of my relationships were formed online so I know how it felt feeling misplaced and different, feeling alone. I still have mementoes of such loneliness and as this movie states “it’s like our past is the story we keep telling ourselves” being alone has shown me how beautiful and peaceful life can be, but spending it alone gives time to think even in those bad thoughts ik there’s someone or something out there that can truly understand or show me who I truly am and why I am here. Someday somewhere out there, I’ll find that person. So will you, don’t lose hope, your not alone. We can all be here for each other.

I walked into my new bio class and there she was. for the first few months of being in the class i never really thought much of her besides the fact that she was this insanely pretty girl. i began to have a crush on her around spring time, but i never really talked to her. there was this one time where i went to a birthday party on the beach and she was there too and i wanted to talk to her so bad, but i didn't. summer passed and nothing, i couldn't build up the courage to text her. fall rolls around and i finally text her and we just instantly clicked, it was amazing. we had so much in common and i felt like i could spend hours and hours with her and never get tired of her. one thing that was really special to me was out interest in music. our music taste was so similar and we liked so many of the same artists and songs. one of my favorite things to do with her was introduce each other to new songs and artist. we were about a month into 'talking' when she showed me the moon song but it wasn't this version it was the cover by oscar lang and beabadoobee. i fell in love with that song as soon as i heard it. every time it would play her smile and laugh would instantly rush into my head. we had an amazing relationship and every second i spent with her i felt like the happiest guy on earth, i loved her. fast foward to about a month ago and she basically left for another guy, one of my good friends. im still deeply in love with her and everytime i try and talk to any of my friends about how i feel, they all angrily tell me that it's over and that i have to get over her, but i don't want to. ive been keeping my feelings in and every single day i have to act like im fine and im happy when im really not. i watched this movie for the first time last night and i couldn't help but to think of her the entire time. when the scene with the moon song played, it absolutely broke me, this is such a beautiful song and much better than any other cover. if anyone is even reading this, plz keep your significant other close and show them how much you love them because you don't realize how much someone means to you until they're gone.

I recently came across this movie on Netflix and watched it since I heard it was good. All I have to say is wow. Amazing movie. I'm not much of one for "romantic" movies but this was so good. Joaquin Phoenix is an amazing actor and man, Scarlett's voice is just so relaxing to hear.

I cannot speak of Her without showing how this Movie moved me. I watched it because I knew it was a good movie, without knowing The story but I did not expect this. It’s truly wonderful and moving. I cry easily but I don’t think I’ve ever cried harder than the first time I saw it. It took me 30 minutes to get up after The end. It has something. I thought this movie was beautiful. I expected it to be a story about some pervy guy who wasn’t interested in people. I was shocked to discover that it was just about relationships, and how desperate we all are to feel truly connected to something. This film taps into the need we all have to feel heard, to feel accepted and to feel truly loved.
Even the scene placement and timing was artful and beautiful. This song/scene was THE MOST joyful moment in the entire movie, and the last joyful moment in the entire movie. When I noticed this, the whole movie opened up again for me. Because you realize, they manage to make you feel every emotion Theodore feels, when he feels it. They even leave you hanging at the end of the movie, with that feeling of needing to force yourself to move on, and love again, on your own, or with others you have a new appreciation for. I wish I watched years ago. Not just recently.
This is literally the one movie I've always wanted to watch, but never have watched. Ever since the day I first saw it as a new release on the shelf of the DVD store I frequented back then. Idk why I haven't watched it. Maybe my mind is telling me to save it for a specific moment in my life. Probably I'll watch it for the first time when I'm married with whoever is to be my wife.
