He deliberately doesn’t mention prices. I am certain that this channel brings Mike somewhere around $500-800K/year; he can afford to spend several thousand $ for a single episode of his food show (because that is what it is).

Why wouldn't you be able to go there? I don't think Dubai is very expensive to visit, but personally there doesn't seem to be anything there I'd be interested in visiting. Dubai doesn't seem to have a culture of its own, and everything there is too modern and new-ish.

Oh I've been there, ate outside overlooking the marina! Made my family really HAPPY! Everything you said is right 👌 and they serve unlimited rice with that btw as far as i can remember 😉 that size of the lobster is pretty standard.

Calamari is tough 1 time out of 20 because the cooking process is sensitive. I work in a restaurant and if my cook that makes it is doing something else for 15-20 seconds longer then our time it effects the quality.
Great review, everything looked so good, those prawns were huge! We catch some pretty big Tahitian mountain prawns here but they aren’t lobster sized😂the scallops with that melted cheese had me drooling big time! How much in U.S. dollars was all that?

When I visited Dubai, I used to go to the Dubai Mall and just go on a food binge, great place with a huge food court.
U should explore out if you visit again . There are many good and affordable places .
But yes the food courts are insane too and helps a lot during the summer
