    Where would the CMOS battery be located. When I try to boot up my laptop, the light blinks and then shuts off, but never boots. Could this be a dead CMOS battery?

    • @UbergeeksBiz
      @UbergeeksBiz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No CMOS battery. Runs off from main battery. You can try remove battery and direct adapter to power up laptop. If that fails, more likely other hardware failed

      @@UbergeeksBiz I got it to boot by unplugging the battery and unplugging and plugging back in the AC. A blue screen said “The CMOS Checksum is invalid” and it reset itself to default configuration. Now my laptop works 100% fine while it’s on. The problem is when it’s fully shut down, it can’t turn on again. I just want to know how to turn it on when it’s off, because there’s no issues while it’s turned on. I can even play GTA V on it.

      I need help please. My laptop (same as this one) won't charge and one turn on. I've looked up as much as I can but nothing. I've took out the battery drained the energy by pressing the power button for 1 min. then put the battery back in with the charger and nothing. I repeated the process but without the battery and still no reaction. I repeat the process without the charger and still nothing. My charger workes with my girlfriends laptop (hers is a hp envy 65w and mine is 200w) and so I'm lost on what I should do.

    At 5:53 you point at the right fan and telling that this is the CPU fan. When I do a CPU fan test via de BIOS, the left starts rotating. When I do a GPU fan test, the right one starts rotating.

    I bought a $269 HARD DRIVE. Not SSD. I'm happy to know why my 5TB drive wasn't working. Wrong type.
