I've got that exact same guitar. It's super mellow and definitely different than any other guitar I've ever owned. It's actually called a Cort Sunset Nylectric. They also came in black. It's actually kind of fun to play metal on it as you can actually make it work and it tends to really surprise people that you can get those tones out of a nylon stringed acoustic when plugged in.

Thanks Freddy! The pedal is triggering a cajon sample. It can be assigned to other things like an acoustic bass drum sound as well!

Hey LK, nice video! I want to play bass line simultaneously with nylon guitar.
I play Brazilian music (Bossa Nova, Samba, etc). I'm only interested in E - A strings. Do you think this pedal is enough or maybe I would need a special pickup as submarine + pedal?

Hi Airton, thanks for the compliment!You can set the Range knob to roughly affect only the E and A string (as in certain parts of this video). It sort of works by frequency range. I think it will work fine for what you are wanting to do. I’d suggest you’d try it out at a local store first to see if it works for you. As for the submarine pickup, I don’t think it works with nylon strings though after I checked their website. The only other way to have completely isolated E and A string for bass is to use something like the Godin Multiac with a guitar synth pickup along with a Roland GR-55 or GP-10 guitar synth unit. Or if can find an old BOSS Poly Octaver pedal (but this will need a nylon electric with synth pickup as well)

@@LKWong about submarine, there is a new video and they introduced a "special" nylon string that works fine with the pickup. Thank you for your reply!

@@simborar oh yes! I’ve just seen it. You’d need to use those thomastik strings with bronze wounds on the lower strings. Cool solution!

Hi, Thanks for sharing. how did you set this up to add bass? Did you use it on 'lowest note' mode where it detects the lowest note while you play and octaves that note only?

Hi there, I’ve set the BOSS OC-5 range knob slightly above the lowest note mode. This gives octave bass effect to cover approximately the 5th and 6th string

@@LKWong Thanks for your reply. Okay so If you play the 6th and 5th strings together , will an octave be added for both strings at the same time? or only the lowest note in that case?
