How it Works?

The 33 bedroom is an outlier in this dataset, if you exclude that value , the relplots become clearer and the relationships become evident! Good tutorial, simple, clear and to the point.

Great video thank you! Can explain the choice of values for test_size=0.3, random_state=2? When I ran the regr.score(X_test, y_test) I got back 0.1019986070518395.
The value of random_state ensures that the samples remains same in x_train and x_test when you run it multiple times, also test_size is the ratio in which we split the training and test data. You can go with the default values for random_state as well. Hope that helps!

Question: To Predict price, though you have huge dataset, you are manually determining/Assuming yourself Price depends on Floor, Price Depends and Sqft .. price dont depend on zipcode .. bla bla...
My earlier understanding was Model will run relationship of each variables on Price and It shows which variable have good performance to determine price and which other variables have poor performance which can be dropped ... and also model builds up it's price prediction equation something like Price = X*Floor +y*Zipcode + z*SqFt .... bla bla...
Now watching your video confuses me ... why so many manual assumptions and who suppose to build Price prediction equation ?
