    Thank you Marc. Circular breathing never really stuck with me. I tried many approaches and techniques. I kinda got it. But it never felt good or natural or easy. But this video has done it. My circular breathing is easy, natural and sounds great. I’m so pleased. Thank you !

    Really awesome tutorial. Makes so much sense that the tongue does most now.
    I tried other tutorials for days and then got the first beginning of circular breather with this tutorial after 10 minutes. Thank you!

    I am getting a melodica or melodia in for Christmas. I liked, subscribed, and now receive notifications for all your videos. Your tutorials are really in depth, and I will try this circular method. I know understand didgeridoo has thousands of tones, brought to our culture over hundreds of years, and you are a proprietor and sole genius of this channel.

    Has anyone ever said you look like Peter Dinklage? I'm learning a lot from your videos and I keep thinking I'm taking lessons from Tyrian Lannister from Game of Thrones! Take it as a compliment! 🥰

    The tongue use for breathing is revolutionary. Far better than only cheeks!!! Thanks

    • @didgeridooberlin
      @didgeridooberlin  ปีที่แล้ว

      To be perfectly honest: I doubt the use of the cheeks alone and am convinced that the tongue is always used for this purpose. Whether consciously or (mostly) not

    I can circular breathe (somewhat), or can do the rapid in/out blowing you demonstrate while speaking about the bird (slowly inhaling and exhaling through my nose the whole time) indefinitely... But cannot generate enough push to buzz the lips more than a tiny 'plop' noise (which doesn't resonate in the didge at all) while doing so. Just practice?

    Two a clock at night.
    Me, watching breathing exercises right here.
    Don't even have a didgeridoo.
    Something is wrong with me.

    Does this work just as well if you play from the side of your lips rather than the center?

    • @didgeridooberlin
      @didgeridooberlin  21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Of course on the side as well. I've been playing on the side only for 15 years becoming a professional Didgeridoo player.

    How do I do it with tandprotheses the practice with the tongue

    • @didgeridooberlin
      @didgeridooberlin  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Marleen, if you mean a denture, with it it is possible to push with the tongue without any problems. Only it needs some practice NOT to build up too much pressure between teeth and lips. Or is it about other prostheses?

    How come there's no wind instrument that uses nose to blow the air!?!?!?

    • @didgeridooberlin
      @didgeridooberlin  ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting question. Why should you? You're able to control the air flow much better with your mouth / tongue.
      But actually there is ... the nose flute :-) where you blow with your nose while you modulate with your tongue

    what-it-would-be-if-it-was-explained-with-drawings-expressing-the-function-of-tongue-and-water-so-I-don't-see-anything

    • @didgeridooberlin
      @didgeridooberlin  ปีที่แล้ว

      In my long experience, Drawings don't help as much as the exercises do. If it helps you: Here is a visual representation. You can ignore the German text, because it puts the focus on the cheeks, but the tongue makes the right movement:
