Sacred Migration 2025

Join us for an epic journey through Michoacan state to shop directly from local artists and visit the UNESCO protected Monarch Butterfly Biosphere with wildlife biologist Trecia E Neal. This tour also includes 3 nature lectures, with one covering invasive bird species in Mexico, and 2 about Monarch Butterfly biology and habitats. We will also spend one morning observing birds with ornithologist and PhD Candidate Adrian Ceja Madrigal. Jaime Hernandez of Animecha Tours will lead the cultural introduction of our journey, introducing you to a plethora of artisans and art mediums, whilst explaining the rich history of these regions.
