I'm a Lifeweaver main and I found Jeff to be the most similar to him. Both are defensive healers that have decent spam , high healing, and rely on being evasive as their main way to survive..Jeff's ult is also a lot like LifeGrip in that you can save your allies while also being able to cancel out powerful ultimates.

I think hulk is another character that is similar dva. Big chunky tank with bubble to absorb damage. As well as if you die in hulk form. You have a second change to run away as a soft squishy bruce banner.

@jopropretje it actually gives me a similar vibe to dva (who i also play a lot of as shes the only tank i know lol) now that i think of it. the feeling of being ALWAYS doing something, constantly ready to jet to the next task. it makes me so so so happy because i strongly prefer playing support as that playstyle is way more suited to me, but dva scratches an itch in my brain that i can't get in the support role for overwatch. mercy is most similar but i dont get to play her very often as she's just not very good atm. ana is close too, but not exactly the same type of active that dva is. it's more of a "monkeybrain press button hehe" urge that i have with dva, and cloak and dagger is even BETTER at satisfying it, dare i say. i'm glad you're enjoying them too!!
I personally disagree with the Reaper choice... Punisher does have a shotgun, but almost everything else seems to be an 'enhanced soldier' pick rather than a Reaper ability. In my opinion, Wolverine is the way to go (I understand you might have not known about him when you made the video). He's got high close-range damage, with a way to self heal and stay alive while neck deep in enemies. His leap can sort of take the place of Reaper's teleport, and his slash is just more damage on top of the damage!
probably said punisher for the whole just damage kinda aspect. Repear doesn't really need to do anything fancy other than tp behind people and get flank picks.
In addition. After playing for some time: If you are a Reddit Lucio, Iron Fist might be the move. His playstyle includes walking on walls and waiting until you can single out an easy target. Dropping on them, getting the kill and getting out. You can heal yourself as well.
As a lifeweaver and symmetra main, I have found that Loki works pretty well as an analogue. While I do miss not having to aim my healing, clones are great stage control that I like as both sym and lw and using his runes (basically an immortality field) after placing a clone near a far away ally feels a lot like getting that saved an ally sound from life gripping. Meanwhile having the clones everywhere and their short cool down feels like having sym's turrets while having a quick teleport option that needs good thinking just like hers. The only problem is the ult but as long as anyone on the field (allies and enemies) have an ult you want to use, it's a great utility. You can strategize with your teammates and basically pop two of the same ult one after the other. I like using luna snow's ult after an allies' to basically double the team's practical immortality.
lifeweaver main here and have been loving rocket racoon! the healing output he can do for the full team + the res station + the bongo ult does really well, just have to play quite in the backline and save my shifts for when I am getting attacked... wait that's just like weaver ;)

As a Venture, Genji, Bastion, Moira player on overwatch I find myself enjoying pretty much all the mele characters (mostly black panther) I also like playing Storm, Venom, and Cloak and Dagger, some have similarities to who I like on overwatch but none are the same, just try everything until you find who you like
for the damage lucio playstlye I fell like spiderman fits better since your swinging and wall climb can match lucios speed and walls and allow you to assassinate or distract the enemy backline.

Illari players may also enjoy Adam Warlock, as he has a similar healing cadance to her, mostly going for small-width hitscan shots and every couple seconds looking at the team to heal them kinda thing.
Hulk is closest to Dva if you are looking for the small character hides inside larger character until they die. Then the smaller character has a pistol and must survive until they can summon the larger character again
I’m a kiri main who likes the aspect of her kit that allows flanking, dpsing / taking duels, and making space more than the healing/supporting your team aspect of her kit. If you’re like me, try psylocke. You can kinda play her just like DPS Kiri. Just go on off angles and shoot people from the side or back, and if you get rushed by multiple people, instead of tping to your team like on kiri, just go invis or dash away and repeat. I’ve been loving her playstyle so much, and her ult is so satisfying to use
Some partial match for me is moira and raccoon as he also heals with bouncing orbs and you get a similar play style of bouncing them from surfaces. And i felt mantis healing feels similar to Brigitte health packs. And to a lesser degree cloak and dagger as her healing also has a moderate homing targeting.

This is a great video and pretty accurate. I like playing kiriko, juno and diva mostly. And I've really liked playing Luna and Cloak and Dagger. And I liked the feel of peni parker just haven't really figured out her kit yet.
As a Lucio main, I would suggest Spiderman. It depends on a playstyle, but for me Lucio's core is his movement and ability to be all over the place. I also like his high damage potential which allows him to take opponents quick if you hit your shots. If your Lucio playstyle is supporting your team by helping on the flanks or controlling space, Spiderman should be the best match. Or Jeff, he is also nice to flank with and get away, but he doesn't have this assasin capability.
As a Ball main I was immediately drawn to Spider-Man, he’s so good and fun I’ll have to check out Venom that massive health pool looks very interesting!
In Overwatch I played a lot of Queen on tank, Cass on DPS, and Lucio/Brig/LW on supp. For some reason, I've been clicking with Peni Parker, dunno why 😂 I'll take it!
Hulk is also like D.VA imo. They both can get their forms destroyed and have to run around with a pistol lol Also Cloak and Dagger to me feel like a weird Lifeweaver, Moira, Kiriko mashup. Lifeweaver can auto target his allies making it easier to aim his petals and dagger has the same which imo is crucial for me because aim is my downfall lol
I main JQ as well, I played Thor during the beta and he defintely has some similarites with her, more in the way he engages. But I think JQ is more unique, Thor feels a bit more like a melee version of Venture. He can reach high ground easier than JQ and go for setups kinda like Doomfist/Hazard. I also recommend trying Cap. America. I decided to main Venom, but I think you might like Cap, he has a rushdown playstyle.
Hela is actually really like a kiri that takes off angles. Annoying and near impossible to punish. I think genji is also like winter soldier for the ultimate.
Maybe a hot take but IMO the closest hero to Roadhog is Thor. Roadhog is a beefy tanker who goes around, gets a pick and then escapes with his big health pool and ability to self-heal. Thor does the same. He uses his mobility to get on the high ground and look for a flank. He pops his awakened state to get a kill and then escapes with his big health pool / mobility again.

I'm a JQ main (and soon to be Hazard main too), in Rivals i'm playing Venom/Strange. Btw I think Thor feels a lot like Venture, a similar dash and passive. Also Sojourn mains would probably enjoy Black Widow as well
The majority of the Rivals cast really isn't similar enough to be a good stand in for most OW heroes. They have some similarities but that's all, as shown in the videos. Like, one feature often gets highlighted (if any at all) from a list of around 6 or 7 from Rivals characters because they're just too very different. Honestly, that's great for Rivals to stand out as being unique and not a complete copy.
ive been thinking about marvel rivals but something about it just doesnt feel right. i think its the 3rd person perspective, it just looks super clunky from the footage

Well, storm has an aura onto her kit when she switches between wind and lightimg gives aura to her allies

As a Sombra main, I felt PsyLocke was the easiest Marvel hero to pick up, not Loki.

I'm a JQ main (and soon to be Hazard main too), in Rivals i'm playing Venom/Strange. Btw I think Thor feels a lot like Venture, a similar dash and passive. Also Sojourn mains would probably enjoy Black Widow as well

The majority of the Rivals cast really isn't similar enough to be a good stand in for most OW heroes. They have some similarities but that's all, as shown in the videos. Like, one feature often gets highlighted (if any at all) from a list of around 6 or 7 from Rivals characters because they're just too very different. Honestly, that's great for Rivals to stand out as being unique and not a complete copy.
As a sigma main i might go into Magento but he also uses similar abilities of zarya and i am terrible with them

ive been thinking about marvel rivals but something about it just doesnt feel right. i think its the 3rd person perspective, it just looks super clunky from the footage
@@BooleanDev getting hands on finally,it does feel weird. Not sure if because is truly IS clunky,or cuz it’s DAY 1,or because the 3rd person camera angle merely makes it feel weird
@@BooleanDev I think it just has to grow on you. It is still early on and might just feel weird because you were used to games like it being 1st person
@@KingOfhearts72 yeah just played it today and still not used to the 3rd person. the biggest thing that makes it feel weird is that aiming feels completely different, id have to completely rewire my aiming muscle memory
it doesnt get in the way of the game feeling fun though, its just an additional learning curve
