- Back in March before our epic road trip across the US, Blake and I went to a local flea market with some great friends! It was like a Mini-Southern-California-Meetup and quite a marathon day of shopping! This is part 1 and more videos (with more fun friends!) will be dropping in the next few days/weeks.

OMG!! I had that EXACT EASY BAKE OVEN!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
“Omg that lamp” 🫶🤣
8:01 too funny, I just read a book {well, not the entire book, but I finished it today} where a pink push button phone was mentioned and I was thinking "really? pink??" ... Now I believe it!
There it is! 😆
I had one with my own phone number when I was a kid.
I had a brown easy bake oven when i was like 5, made the best mud pies for my daily tea parties🤣… i still have it n im 52… the lamps are everything!
Hej from Denmark 🇩🇰
Wauw so many beautiful, fun, colorful and decorative things 😍
🚴♀️ I am coming😋😘
Wow thank you for watching! That’s quite a compliment coming from someone living in one of the most beautiful countries on earth 😍
@@MidCenturyWasted thank you. We are a small country. Only 5.6 millions people. So I am surpriset when others know us. And yes - I feel privileged. But - one of the reasons to follow videos from other country are to see the nature and culture. And the culture shows in thrift. I love to see your joy of live in many of your things in USA. And your country is beautiful to😘😘😘😘⚘️
So much cool stuff. There were a few Got it and Want it's for me.
That owl 🦉 said hi to Barb!!
Elderly, i just got it lol🤣🤣
I had a late 70s Easy Bake Oven. Nothing like a cake baked by light bulb! So much beautiful MCM but so expensive!
Loved all those lamps Jamie!
Ok I think I need to go to the Long Beach Flea Market. So much good stuff 🌈
So many amazing MCM treasures!! 😍
That was so fun. I need to go sometime..when it cools off lol
Yeah now is not the time! Unless you go at 5am and are home before it gets so hot 🤣
Thanks for sharing!
If I had a game room that bowling ball table would be epic! Such a neat and creative piece.
A game room would so perfect! Times like these I wish I had a basement!
Really enjoyed shopping with you!
I recall my Easy Bake oven being orange. I think I got it for Christmas in the 70’s. 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Great finds!! 🥰
Orange? Don't know that I've seen those...🤔
LOVED it! TFS💙
Speed walk, wait, squirrel cute stuff!!! lol! I lurv Dahlas! If you ever find the black gravel art cat I would love to have it!! I made a set as a teenager and have been hunting for them ever since.
You’re going to have to hope I find two of them because that’s something I’ve been searching for too! 😆
Loved your video. Are those glasses Dairy Queen glasses? Love them!
They are!
😃
How is it that I missed seeing this video! I have those exact speakers sitting in my garage with the original paperwork…inherited from my stepdad’s side of the family.
I so want to go to that market! I've only been to Rose Bowl Flea Market but I hear Long Beach is similarly huge
I just watched lone fox shop the lb flea today. I wonder if you’re ever there at the same time as the other people I watch. Love all the owls and that briard platter
I was there too that day!
There was some great stuff you were picking up. Is there a cover charge before going into the Long Beach flea?
Yes I think it’s $10 and $15 for people who want to shop an hour early, but don’t quote me on that 🤣 it’s something around that price anyway.
How much was it????
I didn’t even ask! 🤦🏻♀️ I’ll keep an eye out though! I loved it.
I absolutely hate it when things aren't priced. I don't mind the occasional item but when someone doesn't price a single thing they're selling I'm not about to ask a price for every item I am interested in. So annoying.
I agree, it’s much better to me when things are priced. When they aren’t priced, my method is to ask the price of something I know the value of to gauge if they are too high or low enough to make it worth it. If they have a good price on the first thing, I’ll make a pile of stuff I want and ask for the price. Usually “bundles” give you good discounts. This especially works well at estate sales.
