RIP Benji Gregory. Passed away June 13 here in Arizona at age of just 46.
Because of his death I started watching this show for the 1st time and at 36 I'm gutted I never seen it when I was young

In this episode, Brian finds out that ALF's real name is Gordon. However, in at least one previous episode, Willie calls ALF Gordon with whole family around, which means they did know what his real name is. Obviously this episode was broadcast out of production order.
It was a disaster of a production. A travesty. Its why it got cancelled after 4 seasons.
