    Thank you for your video, I'm looking for the right rhythm to improve my distance while having moments of glide to get my breath back, I'll try the 1 2 3 4---- to have time to breathe, see you soon on a Swiss lake ;)

      You are welcome. I am not sure, if those rhythms are really helpful, but maybe I just need some shims to lower my angle of attack.

      Where are you pumpfoiling?

      Hi interesting, I am stuck in the 30-40sec range for now, using Kujira 1440. Would you have any advise to break the ceiling?

      @@Thomga1 difficult to say from afar. It could be many things. Sometimes the pumping technique is not precise or efficient enough. Sometimes the frontwing is not efficient enough to pump longer. When I switched to the Sirus, I could pump suddenly 3-5 times longer than before. Sometimes board and foil don’t fit together with your weight, so that your angle of attack is not good for pumping.
      Based on that my recommendations are the following: Let other people Pump with your setup to see how they are performing with it. Try to pump other setups to see how you are performing with them and try to analyse your pumping to see, if you can improve on something like your rhythm or your angle Of attack with shims and so on.
      I hope that helps!

      @@FoilingPastorthks for your reply, I actually did start puttting some shims, already made a leap fwd!! That is when I hit the 40's sec, Now trying to reduce it because too hard on the back leg... So fine tuning the setting at the moment. Will be hard to test other set ups as I am the only one in the region for now, trying to convince some guys but I leave in middle east, 45 degres, feels 55 during the day, and already 35 feel like 40 at 06.00 in the morning... So not many candidates. Maybe in few months when weather cools down.. Also temperature might affect my performance... Maybe with 10 deg less I can hit the 1 min.. Who knows:))

      @@reneschmieder21 Gute Frage! Wie misst du denn die Geschwindigkeit?
      Ich glaube, dass ich obwohl ich eine sehr gute Garmin habe, die Geschwindigkeit nicht so genau gemessen wird, sondern eher etwas verzögert. Wäre eigentlich seltsam, wenn die Garmin nicht die Geschwindigkeit der Hand rausrechnen würde, aber könnte schon sein.

    Have you everything considered reducing your arm swing ? It seems you are using a lot of energy by doing this😅

    • @FoilingPastor
      @FoilingPastor  ปีที่แล้ว

      Arm swinging helps to take some force away from the legs, so that you can go longer, why would you want to stop swinging your arms?

    • @pump-foil
      @pump-foil ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FoilingPastor I did not ment to stop, just to reduce the swing. You have very large mouvements and it must use part of the oxygen of your body....

      @@pump-foil interesting to see, if that helps. thank you for the tip... I am still a bit sceptical 😅
