Michael Garrison. Departure & Runaway

In memory of the late Michael Garrison. Michael had his own distinctive rhythmic style and is not as well known as other synthesizer artists. When the first track ends I wanted the second track to come straight in but my son said it couldn't be done...sure it can?

A genuine artist. One time (early 90's) I called the ph # to Windspell records, because I wore out the 'Images' tape. As it happens the guy on the other end of the phone was Michael himself, and we talked for some time about mostly electronic music and so forth. Will always remember that. I was stoked! His music is a personal favorite & I'm an old school metal head !!

Those first two albums were important additions to my collection in '79-'80 .....and played to death!! Just as important t as Synergy, Tangerine Dream and Jean-Michel Jarre. I would play something from Prisms and often catch people off-guard cuz they weren't familiar with his work.
Lord knows why!! And to this day, i am STILL instructing people on the artist and albums when they say ".......Cool music. Who is this?"

Thank you! I love his music! I haven't listened to it in many years. I first heard him while in college. I just learned that he passed in 2004--so sad!!
