I remember crying when they were eliminated. I'm even more sad that they spilt up :( I'm grateful that the world got to listen to them share their talent.

@@vlrtrbl2637 they do this every year or so :( once they posted something that they were making music or a tour years ago then nothing happened after a year.

After watching this (thank you by the way) & trying to compare it to their songs on their albums plus the covers they've done on their after the show, it's clear to me that Drew was frustrated with the song choices but did his best to perform them anyway, Wes was just happy to be performing & showing his talent & Keaton was down with being there with his brother & even realizing that yes he can sing & he likes performing. BUT the thing I noticed the most is that Simon Cowell was trying hard to turn them into a stereotypical pop boy band when clearly that's not who they are & Demi knew it & was like thinking what I'm thinking every time I watch these videos "Simon ruined these boys."
They're different now. Ya, sometimes they're cheesy but they still have their uniqueness. I don't think they're stereotypical. I think they are just being theirselves. Simon did change them but they changed back on their own
Well, no Chicken Juan, I meant that Simon tried to turn them into that stereotypical pop boy band that they aren't & I think when Demi made her comment about them being a downgraded version if the Jonas Brothers it was, in a harsh way, to tell Simon that he's taking away what made them special. It was clear to me that Demi was annoyed & frustrated with what Simon was doing to them. When they told her that they can play instruments too it seemed to be a pleasant surprise to her but also a bit disappointing because she probably knew what Simon's intentions were & it would fail them. Toward their end on the show Simon had picked his winners & it wasn't them. Simon may have had success with groups but Emblem3 wasn't the kind of group he knew how to have success with them & when he realized this, he jumped ship immediately. Emblem3 has substance. They have actual talent with playing instruments, musical engineering, singing, writing songs with meaning, Simon can't do anything with that. And if he can, he should have done it with them. I hope I'm making sense.....

You're spot on. My tenant was their stepfather and shuttled them around LA when they were doing these shows. The boys' father and uncle are highly regarded artists in the entertainment industry. Google William and Robert Stromberg. These kids have major talent blood running through their veins... Keaton was playing piano and bass at a very young age, and always performed at his parents' parties. Drew's father kept trying to convince him he didn't need the brothers, and pressured him to strike it out on his own (bad decision)
All being said, they will likely succeed if they keep working at it and find their way. They've grown out of their cute boy band marketing advantage and maybe not a bad thing.
I cant believe it's been almost nine years since their audition I was hooked right away they helped me through a really hard point of my life even when they weren't even doing music together. So stoked they are all back together and going on tour this summer. Seeing them for the sixth time I believe in August in LA.
4/5 years later and i'm still rewatching this and still fangirling❤️

When they did the WMYB/My Girl/California Girls mashup my heart damn near busted. I fell in LOVE with them when I was like 15. These boys will always have a special place in my heart.
Just went to their headlining tour yesterday and I am so proud of them! I got the chance to meet them and talk to them for a long while last night. Best night ever.
I remember watching all of this live and from the very first performance Keaton was my favorite! And when he finally broke free and sang by himself for the first time I can remember yelling I knew it!!! His voice is just so perfect!

best group ever on the X factor UK and USA, their performance was so high.
Thr california gurls one has lines saying "sweet like a mango, rose in my mouth, well it takes 2 to tango" is in their song riptide in Drew's rap (second rap part) and Keaton is so sweet here!

I've come to notice that when it came to The X Factor, the contestants that became famous were either 3rd or 4th or 5th (ex. One Direction, Emblem3, Cher Lloyd) the only exception to this, in my music taste anyway, is Little Mix

I'm gonna be honest .. The first time I heard their song was "Chloe" it was playing on the radio and I started singing along (gosh it's was so catchy) && I regret that I didn't search them up after hearing their song .. I mean come on they're amazing and now I found this and I didn't even know they were on X-factor until now (because I don't watch xfactor I only watch some on TH-cam) and they're fucking amazing seriously I LOVEEE their originality .. I'm not a judge or anything but this is my opinion I love them already they need to make more songs 💗
