At this point, it's a habit to hear Nerd's voice narrate in my head when I navigate dangerous/suspicious situations. It's almost like an extra sense of awareness
A surprising amount of kidnappers let their victims "go", mostly in the case that they've been captive for years, and have shown submission. This is because these types of kidnappers are so narcissistic they believe their victims are 100% under their control and will never "betray" them. There are at least two cases off the top of my head where the kidnapper even let their victim phone home or visit home. The sad part is, though, that often in these cases the victims are so traumatized and under the kidnapper's control that even in situations where they could escape, such as in public, they don't even attempt to leave.
You just reminded me of the Colleen Stan case! She was abducted by a married couple who had a baby and was trapped in a box under their bed for majority of the day for 7 years. She was tortured in every way and the narcissistic Cameron Hooker let her earn "privileges" where she got a job working at a motel, could jog unsupervised, and even visited her family for a bit. Way more went on than I'm describing but it's v interesting and she survived and got away.
@@dreamsicle3113 I remember that case! where she only didn't escape because they'd threatened her family. Eventually the wife told her they couldn't actually do anything against the family and she left.

I think the thing that gets glossed over in a lot of these videos, especially with the constant backseat driver advice to finish off the bad guy, is that killing someone is very difficult. Professional soldiers train for it, they're going into situations where other people are actively trying to kill them back, and they still frequently have trouble doing it. You should be thankful if you are the sort of person who has trouble killing someone. It means you have human empathy. yeah it might cause you some trouble if you get into a whack-ass situation like this movie, but the rest of the time it's going to help you a lot, because you really don't want to turn into the sort of person who deals with your problems via casual murder.

@@coraleesmells not necessarily. Air has to get in for liquid to get out. If the previous hole is small enough, liquid might not pour out right away or at all due to internal pressure. Long time watcher, first time commenter. I’m LIVING for all these uploads, love your videos
Oh dang dude! Why didn't you say so earlier?! I didn't realize the Patreon versions were more gorey! Ok heading over there right now. You had me at "using their teacher's intestines for jump rope".
You better know what you signed up for when you meet a person named Brad
Chad entered the chat:
LMFAOOOOOO
Is that what you were expecting?
🤣 🤣 🤣 both
Whenever I watch (Horror) movies, I always say out loud/ think what stupid decisions the characters make and and what doesn't make any sense.
Also, love the How to Beat videos. They're really entertaining and I get to know new Horror movies

Here I was about to go to sleep a fool I was i find myself here for the next 25 minutes
Hearing you losing your mind at the girls when they were trying to escape was hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Survival-Chance goes up, I'd say, if one watches TH-camr "Some More News" or at the very least the Videos about Police
I already counted several things that can be used as weapons, especially the lamps and vases as well as the rake
I genuinely didn't know that about the sealed bottlecap and thumb tack thing
Love all the uploads. I hope nerd explains dose not push himself to hard
If I had $3 to my name I'd gladly trade it for your content. As it stands I have exactly .23 cents so after a few months of saving I'll be able to buy a subscription and it'll be worth all the meals I sacrificed to get it.
I don't and will not use Patreon, however I can "use" it by utilizing loopholes. I will support you via information to value exchange. Keep it up, lad.
care to elaborate?
@@Wertzuio Information holds value like other things do. Supply and demand will affect the value of certain information such as classified documents pertaining to the Chinese government.
Bruh, prisoners manage to make shivs and other weapons all the tym with constant supervision. This would be a piece of cake if we are talking about spending years together.
I love the "Meg? Hey, Meg?" segment 🤣
I love that the two girls survived, the less crazy one tht escaped was very likeable. Good movie too!
Watched this early on Patreon, but watching it again on YT to boost the algorithm
Well done Mr Nerd
I love your videos and usually agree with you 100%, but with the sharp broom or mop handle, I would actually go for the solar plexus it would be an easier target for someone Sadie's size. The neck has thick muscles that will take force to get through, which the solar plexus will too, but you can utilize the killers' momentum to pierce his SP.
I spit my drink out when Mr Nerd called ol boys camera hat his "Tron" helmet?
I think Sadie was my favorite character
the way bro went like
" Meg?!
Hey MEG
youve already got a weapon in your hand"
bro in his villain arc right now
Yessss this makes my night.
Lmao Mean Girls understudy stepsister.
this kids is why you hit the gym always , this is prolly the easiest killer to defeat tbh
Let's f*cking go!!! Nerd dropping heat damn everyday😂😂
I love your videos ❤ you should do a video on how to beat the truck driver in Joyride or jeepers creepers , I live in the backwoods and this info would be useful lol
I like that you attacked me lol
Brad is literally the rizzler.
Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive & Dodge!
The five D’s of Dodgeball!
I wish I could get your voice and critical thinking put into my head like cortana and master chief
I was not expecting to see a clip from Bottom when the Frying Pan idea came up.
"If you were catfished and kidnapped by a vicious ... what would you do?🧐
Bottom reference at around 17:42 went hard
Bruh I do not know how you make it through some of these films. Like I was getting frustrated half way through it especially when they went to the basement.
RAAAAAHHHH THE EVERY TWO DAY POST STREAK IS ALIVE AT THE BUZZZZERRR.... BAAANGGG HE POSTS AGAIN 😂
Baaaaang!!!! Right after the game too. He made it before the buzzer in my time zone

8 minutes is the earliest I’ve ever been 😂
0:02 a vicious what?
Man TH-cam is forcing people to neuter their videos, shit sucks
It's a tactic to pacify the public.
I’m honestly afraid of what he said in the intro if it was enough for him to blur out
thats fucking sokka from last air bender, damn
i love how Nerd is just so fucking pissed here lol
The "rake the carpet" comment 🤣
this is awkward to watch knowing my name is Sadie
horror movie characters deserve darwin awards. like seriously, how can they be so dumb?

Kick boxing is the best
This is the one nerdexplains video that he doesn't say to just abandon someone XD

Honestly I thought this movie was going to end with the girl being a psycho killer as a twist ending.
