We call that the "happy shiver dance" at our house. Our Pig does it when we are giving her pets or when I lean into cage and talk to her. She sniffs face/breath and seems to acknowledge and show happiness by doing the dance. Have never seen her do it at any other time. Her cage mate died very shortly after we got the pair and she is a human bonded solo pig who gets tons of attention so that may explain why she only does it for/about people
Oh so that is why I wake up to upturned hideys and a messy cage when I wake up. I got two females but one of them turned out to be a male. At first I had no idea what was happening. Now I know what's happening 😂😂😂
This goes on in my cage every once in awhile, sometimes when one is in heat, in the early morning there's mayhem, and I almost get to the point of wanting to put a grid up to separate the trouble maker, lol, but after a bit, it dies down, they're just hilarious!
Acorn was certainly having a moment! Spaghett is a pretty sexy fellow - she couldn't resist his charms. When you've got it, you've got it! I love how Pumpkin was basically not giving a care, while Zucchin and Butternut hid to stay out of the line of fire!
I know this was a year ago, but make sure they have seperate food bowls, water, AND hides. Guinea pigs can be pretty snarky about their own food and stuff
i watched two wild rabbits in the back yard courting each other. they would stand up and box each other with their front paws. so cute. it went on for a very long time. i read that it could be a mating thing or they could just be looking for a friend if they are the same sex.. i love how the pigs were courting each other too. its so cute to see the flirting.
3:13-3:15 you can kinda see Spaghett’s leg. It looks like he was kicking out acorn. Or was it acorn? I’m not sure but you can see a foot by the left side of the door
I think Spaghett butt wiggled Acorn out of the house! When he really gets into the butt wiggling he turns and almost walks sideways and it looks very ridiculous.

Pets are one thing. Livestock, another. Y'all were raised in civil society and brought up decent. All is revealed in how folks treat animals.

These kind of videos get misinterpreted as fighting fairly often, but I don't think they are fighting at all. At worst they are annoying each other a little. This one in particular they seem to be having a pretty good time actually. The pigs are feistier than we expected, but from things we've heard since getting them I don't think that is uncommon. We get a lot of nasty comments for not pretending they always get along perfectly, but we'd rather show the reality of our experience than what we hoped it would be.

@@oshi8994 Some animals actually don't drink water - some desert creatures, including some mammals, I think something called a Jerboa. They get their needed water from food, and won't drink it if offered. But guinea pigs certainly do need water.
They romped around on and off for a few hours and then things returned to normal. Spaghett is neutered so there won't actually be babies. But they did seem to have fun running around!
i like the "jump up on the box" move. It brings the chasing to a.....whole new level.
