HAPPY SATURDAY! :) Sorry you are struggling with online remote learning Karli! I know it is so different and challenging. My daughter is in 10th grade and doing remote as well....
i am sorry Karli is having a hard time with the online schooling, if it wasn't for al this going on she probably be able to juggle all that plus more. Does take time to get back into a routine you have been out for so long (6 months) then have to pick it up again. She'll be okay and she'll get thru this one way or another. She is a smart girl maybe she could just the online school work online during the weekend .
I’m sorry Karli, also to be in all this during your junior year which is always the hardest. All of this will take adjustments and you’ll find your groove. You got this❤️
It’s so stressful for me and I have so much work and there is so much everyday and I can’t focus because I am at home and I don’t want to do my school work and I always am so upset and stressed out 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I actually did online for the first 3 days of school then quickly switched to in school due to major difficulties. At my school they are doing remote and in school kids together. However, there were only a handle who signed up for remote so there are about 2 remote kids in each of my classes. Juggling in school and remote learners isn’t something a teacher can do and accommodate both effectively. I decided to do in school since I learn in the environment I’m taught in. Engaging in class is how I learn and if I can’t answer and ask questions, I can’t learn. Trust me, online is harder, and it’s ok not to be ok. But number one thing is to communicate with teachers even if you’re a junior or senior in high school. They are going through this too and would love the feedback!!
salome valero it’s the same as class on campus. The only difference is that you have to be more organized. Students have been doing online college courses along with in person for years. Don’t stress out just use all the resources they give you and stay on top of it all. Good luck!
I feel for Karli, online is so hard for a lot of people. My daughter is doing it too, third grade, and it's stressful for both of us. I keep having the same thoughts that it isn't supposed to be this way
Me to! And I have to go to school because we have no option for online but I don't see why we have to go to school because we have to send in assignments online because the teacher cant take our copies. It's so pointless on why we're going to school and we're not learning anything and homework takes way longer then usual because we must type everything up.
I think that too many kids had the expectation that the cyber option would look like the spring, and that was just never going to be the scenario. In the spring, teachers weren’t prepared and education standards were waved by the states. Now, school districts have had to seriously invest in their online programs. If they have some kids in the building and some kids online, they have to be keeping everything the same. If they don’t, it’s not equitable and that’s a violation of every child’s right to a free, quality, and equal education. Of course online school is hard. It should be the same as in person school except you don’t have the structure from a teacher.
Exactly!! And she also had to remember that she’s a junior and it is the hardest year. Although some days might be long other days like she said she ends early. Overall I’m sure the hours spent doing online school is still less than that of in person
everything that karli was saying i completely relate to it. online school is very stressful and like she said it’s a different environment than school so i have way less motivation.
thank you so much for sharing that rant karli, it actually made me feel like i’m not the only person who’s suffering with online school and very stressed. but we got this!!
im only in 8th grade but i have never been able to do home work thats why i always do it at the end of class cause i always finish early but online school i am litirly failing and i have never faild anything i would be so happy to even have a 70 but i have like 40s and 19s i can not do online school
I totally understand Karli, I’m a senior in high school and I’m doing online school. It’s a lot of work, just keep working and doing your best I’m sure it will get easier for all of us.
Open and shut your driver door, make sure sync is off, turn off Bluetooth on your phone and let it reset. Also make sure you look for any software updates on it.
I love to watch Our Family Nest vlogs they are always amazing and such an incredible family that their vlogs always brighten my day whenever I watch them
Please remember that this is hard for teachers too. To me, it sounds like Karli’s teachers are doing what they’re supposed to. The online and in person students should theoretically be completing the same things because every child is supposed to be entitled to a free, quality, and *equal* education.
M E I think you’re getting confused between homework that is assigned when kids are typically *going* to school and the work that Karli is talking about. She opted for online school this year which means she stays home and out of physical school; of course she is doing “homework.” She’s teaching herself everything basically. There is a teacher behind the computer, but from what it sounds like, there isn’t a whole lot of live instruction, which is fine. She’s assigned the work to do at home that everyone else is doing in class that day. I agree that, yes, when kids are in school for 7-8 hours a day, there is argument to say that homework is unnecessary. However, when the home becomes the school, of course they’re doing homework for 7-8 hours a day. What do you want her to be doing-nothing???
I understand where Karli's coming from. I'm a somphore and I can definitely say that I have similar feelings with what Karli is saying. It may also be because she's a junior, if I'm not mistaken, because as I've heard from people and other TH-camrs that are juniors that junior is your hardest year. So that may be another reason to as to why she has a lot of assignments. The same day Karli was stressing out, I was too😂 I was worried that I wasn't gonna be able to turn my assignments and homework on time since I had a bunch going on that day the same as Karli. She's definitely not alone, as she said, because there are mostly likely a bunch of other people who are feeling this way, no matter what grade they're in.
Yess Karli I felt everything you said this e-learning thing is a total mess I also so many assignments. And it takes me hours to finish my homework one time I stayed up to 1 am. Then the days I have track it just so much and stuff do to and it’s on going cycle.
I discovered your channel from a video of Karli having her cast removed from her leg. Then I came to find a recent video to see how much she’s grown up! 😯
Virtual school is definitely stressful, my 15 year old brother is just done and it's a struggle to get him to do work and it seems to be a common problem across the board
I’m a freshman in college, and I can relate to Karli. I am actually going in person to classes, but the homework load is huge! I always feel stressed out and feel like I never get a break.
i’m in college and i totally relate to the online school struggle! i feel so behind all the time and i feel like i have no time for anything else but school. it really is not fun, especially because i’m basically teaching myself everything
I might sound crazy but I actually enjoy online school way more 😳 I’m a freshman in college and maybe I got lucky with my professors but everything’s running really smoothly. Just remember it’s a learning process for everyone!
Yo Asha, not all vehicles - even of the same make - and age, have the same problems. A 'few' might, but it doesn't mean all will. If enough of the same problem is discovered, by mechanics - and reported by them, then recalls are released. Yo Karli, I hope things have gotten better for ya. Thoughts and prayers for you, yo. I believe there's an El Camino here in Erie County PA. I'm rarely in the area I believe I saw it. I've never been to one but would try it.
Karli think of it like you're actually at school. You change classes and then you come home and spend time on your homework. I'm not sure if you meant that your hw was due at the end of classes but if you have the night just save it for later! It's so important to stay on schedule and I think you're feeling the repercussions of that now. Try doing school outside of your room! I think that will help
In my state football and all the other sports don’t start until January but my school for doing online school is that everyone online is expected to do everything that you would do in class so there’s so much work way past what are schedule is too
I’m a high school English teacher in NY. Karli, reach out and communicate with your teachers as much as possible! Let them know how long things are taking and what would make your day feel more “normal.” We are all figuring this out too and trying to find the right rhythm and balance of our classes! We need your feedback. Sorry things are so stressful. Hope you’re taking the weekend to rest and hang with friends. ☺️
Have you guys ever tried profile by stanford!? I would definitely look it up! In 6 months my dad lost 80 pounds and both my mom and i lost 40! With all the cheat meals we had and everything 😁. They give you a coach who will form a plan around you. They also have food at their store like pizza! Its a super nice program and my family, the queens & kings of yo-yo dieting, can say it truly does work! Hope whatever you choose to do works out!🥰
I know everyone hates online school but I honestly kinda like it for me it’s easier. I guess that hardest part of me for school is waking up early and I I wouldn’t leave till late bc of cheer practice. Well now I feel like I have all the time in the world I can just roll out of bed and I don’t have cheer practice during this time so idk it’s easier for me
I understand 100% what Karli is talking about. I'm currently a freshman at Western Kentucky University and the workload is WAY different than highschool. With this whole "pandemic" it has made things much more difficult for me. I struggled to get a laptop because they were selling out left and right, so that was a set back. I also have a job where I work about 15-20 hours weekly, along with school (mon, wed, fri) (most being on zoom), and trying to run a photography business (Through the Lens) (@___through.the.lens__ on insta and fb), and trying to make new friends and make time for everyone. It is stressful, so I get it Karli:( personally the workload is ridiculous, having essays due for multiple classes, having to take notes over 39 slides, reading quizzes, exams, and answering questions on the discussion board is nerve wracking. I wish you the best Karli (and Chase) (and Asha) :)
I think a lot of people when schools closed back in March thought it would be for 2 weeks. Little did students know it would be for the rest of the school year.
An idea for Karli, maybe try changing your room? Your brain sometimes struggles to concentrate if you are working and sleeping in the same room. For me, it really helps if I make my bed as soon as I am awake, it stops me getting back in it ha.
Karli, I'm so sorry you're under such stress. When I was in school, I didn't have time to do "homework" while at school. It was all done at home. I am not sure what your "zoom" classes are doing. Because, if they're supposed to be the actual "class room teachings," why wouldn't all your classes be completed on Zoom, with homework assignments being given as per the usual. I'm really just asking because I don't have anything to relate to this. I got my masters online and it was EXTREMELY HARD, but none of the classes entailed visual, virtual classes, such as Zoom. Hopefully, it will get easier, (?), or at the very least, you'll be able to develop a routine. Your classes may be more difficult than some of your friends depending on what classes you're taking and what level. I had advanced classes in high school, so while my friends took biology, mine was advanced biology, which required a heavier workload. I'm just putting it out there, because I think your an above average student and are taking advanced classes. I know I could be wrong. Keep your chin up! You're an excellent student who works very hard. Candi, Ken, I'm wishing you the best of luck on your journey! I know you can do it. :)
I feel you, Karli. I am a Sophmore in High School and it is so, stressful. When I was in school I had less homework. I am super stressed. 😩 So, I feel your pain.
The teachers don’t know how much homework is normal for an online class they aren’t trained for that they are trained for in person classes so that’s much different then online. I know my school has an every other day option and homework wise if you are online they don’t have you do it unless it’s something they put on the online class work thing.
I totally get how hard this was of school is but then again I don’t get it. When you go to school in person, schools can have anywhere from 4-8 classes a day ranging from 30-120 minutes a day. Teacher teach and you have time to work in your assignments in class. Whatever you don’t finish in class you have to bring home. When that class time is up you leave and move in to the next class and the next teacher teacher. Say you leave English and you learn about the Holocaust and the teacher plays a short film 10-15 minutes and expects you takes notes. For homework you are expected to write an essay. Some kids would completely this in a free period, lunch or in another class they put the day. Now you leave your English class after your day 35 minutes class period and move into math class. Your teacher teaches a math lesson. Gives 50 problems. You are able to complete you 50 problems and start writing a draft for your English essay. Do you see how much you get done while at school for just 7 hours??? When your learning from home students expect these lessons times to be 35 minutes then be done. You have to take into consideration all the extra time in person you have at school to do school work!! Getting done at 8pm isn’t bad at all. Good luck Karli. Look back on last years vlogs. You were up way late till 12-2am doing homework. You got this it will get easier! ❤️🙌🏼
I don’t know about you but I never had time to complete assignments in class I had to do that outside of school along with my actual homework. I’m a freshman in college and I do work from 8 in the morning to about 8 or 9 at night there is no breaks. I feel that she just has too much on her plate: she’s working, still dancing, going to school, and trying to keep a social life. All it takes is her learning efficent time management skills. My senior year of high school I worked, went to school, cheered on a competitive team, babysat on the side, kept up my social life, and still kept my 3.7 GPA. What I’m trying to say is that it’s not impossible it just takes really good management skills.
You know, i was thinking of something. I was thinking how you and Ken were stressed out by having too many businesses going at once so you had to pick and choose which ones you wanted to focus on. It seems like Karli gets her work ethic from both of you. She has school, dance, and a job all going on at the same time and she's struggling to balance it all out.
Karli its rough being home schooled instead of school right? My daughter and son they do all days sometimes on weekends and nights. Just grinding on school work its alot. There both A students never really been stressed now its like alot on there plate and there stressed alot anymore i feel bad for them. They will get through it and so will you
A lot of online classes are self motivated...I’m curious as to why you do homework when your supposed to be in another class? Maybe I’m just not understanding? Sorry if I’m wrong!
i am totally with karli! my teachers have been assigning so much and underestimating how long it takes me. i have been so stressed my acne has flared up! I feel you karli. love u and your family. stay strong love u
I can relate so much Karli im doing online and its the worst for some reason my teachers think the people learning in person are more important then the people that choose to do online. none of my teachers talk to us they don't teach us. I have to teach myself. all my teachers give to much homework I end school at 4:10 and then have homework till sometimes 9 at night. I thought online school was going to be a simple thing but these teachers just don't get how much homework we are getting its the weekend and I have to [do an essay and a 3 page paper like what. one of my teachers gave me a 0 on a test bc she said I was cheating she can't see my it doesn't make sense. I shouldn't be crying overnight over school.
The teacher give more online because your not in person. That happen to me last Spring it was so hard. I have to teach myself the material. Might be reason it’s hard.
Khalid kinda hard to wear a mask when you’re eating don’t ya think chill Karen they wear a mask everytime their in a store if you watch the vlogs daily you’d know that
Freshman is hard Karli , and when you are at school normally you have not the time to do homework at school because you have all the day of lessons with of teachers. And you have at made the homework at home . Now in many Country the school have restarted at school and finish the school home . But you , you have always wanted have the school at home . And this is like that , you have of homework at do and you have at follow of lessons on "zoom" Find a another organization for don't be stressed (like a planner) or you can return at school , if your school is open , maybe tht the school home is not for you :-) :-) But me , I have never does my homework in the bedroom , change of room for the "zoom" /homework the house is enough big for find a place for study and for the home work :-) :-) :-)

For me wether I’m at school or online I never learn anything I just turn in work lol
Hasn’t happened to me. I’m learning law in my law class just fine. But none of my classes have tests or anything

I love you guys 😘
I totally agree with karli. Teachers are assigning way to much. I’m so stressed. Stay strong. Love your family.
Wish I was friends with all of you! Love your family 🤩

Its extremely hard for me to learn math through zoom so I feel her
Karli, I'm so sorry you're under such stress.
It’s interesting that chase says he never has homework or he’s done in two hours while Karli is struggling. He just doesn’t care poor Karli
But chase is also a senior
Notre Dame won 52-0 over the University of South Florida after Brian Kelly got an extension on his contract.
Omg online school I can’t especially when it’s college 😭😭 add top with that I got work which makes so much difficult during the week 😭
Let karli know that we are always here for her🥰🥰
Karli its rough being home schooled instead of school right? My daughter and son they do all days sometimes on weekends and nights. Just grinding on school work its alot. There both A students never really been stressed now its like alot on there plate and there stressed alot anymore i feel bad for them. They will get through it and so will you
Until she dies
Good morning
I was sitting her trying to figure out what restaurant you guys were at. Good luck on your diets!
A lot of online classes are self motivated...I’m curious as to why you do homework when your supposed to be in another class? Maybe I’m just not understanding? Sorry if I’m wrong!
Omg I live in Ohio you guys are here ?
i am totally with karli! my teachers have been assigning so much and underestimating how long it takes me. i have been so stressed my acne has flared up! I feel you karli. love u and your family. stay strong love u

Chase: I can’t see because of the sun Asha: shuts the car door until chase is practically smooshed 😂😂😂
Candi I will have my Venmo ready although I BETTER NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT OKAY BECAUSE YOU CAN DO THIS I LOVE U
Do you have any kids that play football
Karli, You do have a lot going on a Job is important and School is also important. You do not seem like dance is as important. Maybe give up dance.
Karli We all support u
Like count ??
No football also means we won't be able to see all the girls in homecoming dresses.
This video should be called "Listen to me complain for 10 minutes"
Heyyyyy
I shouldn't be crying overnight over school.
a teacher once told me the meaning of every letter in "ford"

The teacher give more online because your not in person. That happen to me last Spring it was so hard. I have to teach myself the material. Might be reason it’s hard.
Y'all seriously think wearing a mask is optional?
What are you talking about??
@@OurFamilyNest You guys did not wear any masks this entire video.
Khalid kinda hard to wear a mask when you’re eating don’t ya think chill Karen they wear a mask everytime their in a store if you watch the vlogs daily you’d know that
you should be glad you're not in an Indian school (i'm sure you have a lot of work, and work hard)
