MisterX867 It's called taking a breath. You do that when there's a comma present. It's common in singing as well as in speaking "For me, (breath) there is no turning back." It isn't hesitating. :)

it's also very common in Japanese to have vocal pauses... it's much more acceptable than it is in english... but when ya translate it... they can stand out heh.

I think she's referring to something else, but warning, it's a bit of a FFIX spoiler ********Kuja ingratiated himself with Queen Brahne and other important people using his charm, acting as if the others were making decisions while he was pulling all of the strings. Also, one of his main actions in the story of FFIX is destroying the last of the summoners, so obviously Yuna would be sensitive to that.

Anima was an optional summon. These have the ones she gets via main storyline, otherwise she'd have Yojimbo, Anima, and the Magus Sisters...and that would be a bit overkill.
It seems the female characters generally respect Vaan more, while the males and Lightning not only prefer Bartz more, but hate Vaan with a passion. XD

well technically that is true but once Seymour put Anima in Baaj Temple it was up for grabs since Anima was intended to be Seymour's Final Aeon. And while evil does fit, I like to think Anima is designed with the feeling of mourning and grievance much like what her Fayth says "Though it is small recompense for what I did to him"

It is obvious why she decided to add Yuna for summoning gameplay, but it still feels off. In FFX summons don't just appear attack and fade away, as here gameplay implies. They replace the entire team and fight for them.
So Rydia would have been more fitting, because that is exactly how it works in FF IV. But yeah Yuna is more popular and it would have been weird to add a fourth FFIV character
because it wouldn't be fun to have an invincible character

Activating her EX Burst, she says "For the hope of the world!", going into the move - "I will end the spiral of conflict! Sins of time eternal...I will cast them away."
The alternate version will be "Sins of time eternal...I will do it, without false hope."
