About 20yrs ago I was blessed to hear The Kingdom Heirs they were singing at Dollywood on a small outdoor stage. I heard the first song and right then they become my favorite southern gospel group, if my family missed me at the park all they had to do was come where the guys were singing and there I'd be lol. They've so blessed my heart over the years, God bless y'all.
This song lifts my spirits and I have to listen to it everyday. Thank you Kingdom Heirs. God has blessed you with a talent beyond measure and thanks for sharing it with us.
I too, listen to this several times a day. Often, by afternoon when I start to flag, this is the go-to song. Love it and the Lord they praise. The bass singer is so flat faced when he first starts singing and then... Well, when he starts rocking out, he is wonderful. Thank you Kingdom Heirs.
Nothing wrong with being Baptist! Some Baptists worship God in the dancing and shouting style of the Pentecostals! Are you kidding me? The Bible tells us to praise God, and it gives us some ways to do that...and one of them is a holy dance before the LORD!!!! If the devil's crowd can whoop it up for ol' slue-foot (Satan), then we ought to whoop it up for JESUS!!! He deserves ALL of our praise!!! Just let go, and let the LORD have his way!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Israelites danced and sang in their camps. Baptists got this WRONG. Nothing in Scripture says we cant dance. Just because Herods daughter danced for him and then wanted John the Baptists head......no connection there....sorry....SHOW IT TO ME IN SCRIPTURE.....GIVE ME THE VERSE
I had the pleasure of seeing the kingdom Heirs at the NQC with my daughter in sept of 2018! They sang this song! One of my all time favs! These guys are blessed! Love this quartet!❤️
This is a sermon in song. I'm from the "Ole School" and know an anointed song when I hear it. This is not a top tapper but a heart lifter. We need more.
There'll come a morning, a brand new day dawning The saints will hear a distant trumpet sound Dead resurrected, the living now perfected Rising up together meeting Jesus in the clouds God tells a story of this great home going Jesus, John, and Paul, they all declare The world can't receive it, but one day they'll believe it All of God's redeemed went to that meeting in the air CHORUS Just beyond the sunset All God's children will gather 'round His throne We'll praise our Lord and Savior In the place He made for our eternal home All our cares, goodbyes and heartaches Pain and sickness, we'll leave it all behind Oh just beyond the sunset, Heaven waits just on the other side I'll see the splendor from my mansion window I'll sing along with heaven's angel band Glorious light there, there will be no night there Only the reflection of the precious Holy Lamb That sweet harp of David, just the way he played it We'll hear those songs through all eternity My loved ones will gather beside that crystal river What a glad reunion day in heaven that will be
34TH RLight: I know you are caught up in your adoration for Kingdom Heirs, but I can assure there are endless combinations of God's Singers that are unique and perfect in harmony. I have fallen in Love with many of them, when you think there cannot be a better combination of voices, then hark! I hear something else that speaks of perfection to my ears! That's why I don't let it upset me when a favorite groups s tarts to break apart. I am more sympathetic with the ebb and flow of other peoples lives, I realize how difficult being on the road and needing to be at home at the same time is for these selfless men and women. I know God will arrange another combination to Glorify His name and delight us!
Chaplain Dale I found a song by Ricky Skaggs called gone home . I loved the song an I was going to use it in my presentation on Veterans Day. I am new at this and I found it by mistake so will somebody help me so I can find it again? God bless you all in an vance.

+lrashsh Release Date: 21 May 2013 Produced by: Arthur Rice & Jeff Collins Executive Producers: Chris White & Mickey Gamble At a time when many Southern Gospel groups are changing their approach to appeal to a wider audience, the Kingdom Heirs appeal to those audiences by continually presenting the perfected elements that have always drawn listeners to this music. These elements are found as strong as ever on the group’s new Sonlite release Redeeming the Time. Lead singer Arthur Rice delivers a standout vocal performance on “I’ll Know I’m Home.” Tenor Jerry Martin shines on “I Thank You.” Baritone and emcee Steve French sings “Wasted Years,” and bass singer Jeff Chapman steps forward for the first radio single, “Just Beyond the Sunset.” Redeeming the Time is one of the strongest albums the Kingdom Heirs have ever released and it will remind fans of why they loved Southern Gospel in the first place. It don't get no better than that.
There'll come a morning, a brand new day dawning
The saints will hear a distant trumpet sound
Dead resurrected, the living now perfected
Rising up together meeting Jesus in the clouds
God tells a story of this great home going
Jesus, John, and Paul, they all declare
The world can't receive it, but one day they'll believe it
All of God's redeemed went to that meeting in the air
CHORUS
Just beyond the sunset
All God's children will gather 'round His throne
We'll praise our Lord and Savior
In the place He made for our eternal home
All our cares, goodbyes and heartaches
Pain and sickness, we'll leave it all behind
Oh just beyond the sunset,
Heaven waits just on the other side
I'll see the splendor from my mansion window
I'll sing along with heaven's angel band
Glorious light there, there will be no night there
Only the reflection of the precious Holy Lamb
That sweet harp of David, just the way he played it
We'll hear those songs through all eternity
My loved ones will gather beside that crystal river
What a glad reunion day in heaven that will be

Just Beyond The Sunset was written in 1982. It was written by Mark Catenzero, myself and our daughter Meghan.
There is an obfuscation in the second verse which was written by Mark Catenzero.. The line should be: THE ENEMY DEFEATED,
JUST AS GOD SAID,
saw them at dolly wood this past summer
I was here in Illinois when I heard them twice!
finally found the lyrics for it.awesome song
southsider1036 just wondering if you still have the lyrics for it? I've been googling it for a while and haven't found it.
yes Dalton, i have them.i looked at page that i had saved & page must be down so i found them on another page.
