I’m surprised that St. Louis wouldn’t still want McCarron. And then they mess up the parting and make him mad. Will be interesting to see where he signs.
Battlehawks fan here. I was very unhappy to see them release McCarron. He was one of the best QB's in the league and a great ambassador for the league in my opinion. I had more of an issue with the conservative play calling of the OC Gradkowski. Would like to see them go in a different direction with a new OC. McCarron is older and has been injured in each of his two years in the league. I just hope St. louis has an ACE up their sleeve and will bring in someone that is an accurate passer but also has mobility to scramble out of the pocket and get positive yardage when the O-Line breaks down in protection. I will reserve judgement until I see who they actually bring in but on the surface right now it looks like a bad move.
I fully agree, the issues with the offense were more on Gradkowski than anyone else. It will be interesting to see who St. Louis brings in as their new QB because whoever that is has some pretty big shoes to fill.
It definitely would be a huge boost to attendance for them, we saw how good the game against St. Louis did. I feel that if he returns it's either to them or DC.

Him going to DC would be the ultimate revenge move and I'd be all for it!
